"Great Value"
I bought this as my starter cookware set. I've had it for over a month and so far everything is great. The nonstick coating works well with no oil (as it should). It also heats evenly so you're not having to rotate food around the pan. I only wish it came with a 12" frying pan.

"Great product for great price"
The overall set is fine but it would be nice to have some extra options like boiling vegitables. The lids does not have pressure pin, which would be better to control overflow to ovens etc. The frying pan is not very deep for frys.

Overall it is good for small family

"Great!!!"
I was way over due for a cookware set. This is the set that i ended up purchasing, I love it so much, so far. I found the price very resonable for a new set, i also didnt want to spend to much money. All perfect sizes for many different size meals, nonstick aspect works great, the handle grip is wonderful, very sturdy, i see this set lasting me a very long time.

"Good Product"
I like it so far, the only problem I have is that one of the pieces got a grease stain after using and I don't know how to get rid of it without damaging the anodized.

"GREAT value for the money!"
I have used several different types of cookware in the past--most recently I was using a combination of stainless steel and coated stainless steel (Teflon on the skillets only) made by Oneida. I didn't have any major gripes with my Oneida cookware, other than the fact that the Teflon was peeling after 5 years of regular use, but I really wanted a set of cookware that had more balanced weight and "felt" like better quality. Quite frankly, however, I can't afford the $1,500 set that I really want! I was on a strict budget of $125 for this purchase, and this set kept me below budget.

I purchased the set from Amazon about 2 months ago, and I absolutely love it. The pots and pans are not to heavy, but heavy enough to feel like you won't throw them over your shoulder by accident when you pick them up quickly. The weight is balanced throughout, and I don't get that "it's so heavy that I can't lift it" feeling that I get with the one Le Cruset pan that I bought at a fire sale. I like the way everything cooks in the pan, and I've found that as long as I keep the heat a little lower than I did with my stainless steel pans, I could potentially simmer for hours without so much as browning the contents in the pan. I love these pans.

I felt like I got mostly everything that I needed in the 10-piece set. My only gripe is that the 8" and 10" skillets are just too small for most of my meals that require a skillet. I'm keeping my eye on the 12" KitchenAid skillet here on Amazon because I think that the 12" skillet would complete my set.

I highly recommend this set--it is a great deal for the price.

What our customer's say!

"good set for any kitchen", all sets are fine, good for any kitchen, no scratches, washing is breeze and heat is distributed properly. recommended

"Great Value! ", These pans are great. I thought you could never find a non-stick pan that's actually "non-stick". But I was wrong, this one is. When I cook, I like to burn some stuff a little just to get that crunchy taste to the food and I always had a problem washing the pans that I had. These pans are easy to clean without any elbow grease. I had non-stick calphalon cookware and they weren't even close to being as good as these pans. I gave those away and kept these. These are even a lot cheaper than the calphalon set that I bought.

"Great to cook with! ", I'm not a gourmet chef, but these pots make it so I could be! They have easy to grip rubber handles, easy to clean glass tops, and are great for any kitchen! The non-stick coating really works and food slides out of the frying pans and pots with no effort or scraping! If you're looking to upgrade your kitchen this is a great product for the price!!

"Kitchen Aide cookware", This product is excellent. No sticking, burning, warping, etc. Worth the money-seems like they will hold up well.

"Great Cookware All Around", I love this set. My husband loves this set. We aren't gourmet chefs by any means, but this makes it easier to cook without all of our food sticking to the pans. We wash dishes by hand anyway, so this isn't anymore difficult to care for than our old pots and pans. My only wish is for lids to fit the pans. Everything else was pefect. Love it, would recommend it to anyone that cooks on a regular basis. We got it when it was down to 99.99, so watch for sales.

Read this reviews before You buy...

""Drive by" review", I don't know much at all about pots & pans, but I just wanted to mention a couple of things which may not have been mentioned before (I think it's kind of useless to read the same redundant feedback over and over and, well.. you get my point. We're all busy people, so in an effort to add something new, I bring you this mini-review!

(sorry for the digression and cheap poetry. just can't help myself sometimes)

1. These pots/pans are of thinner construction than I was expecting. For example, I've got some Calphalon Kitchen Essentials pans from Target and these KitchenAid Gourmet Essentials are less thick or dense than those from that Calphalon hard-anodized collection. Is this a problem? I don't know. These KitchenAid pots/pans seem more prone to getting bent out of shape or warped, but I don't really know if this should be a practical concern or not. Time will tell.

On the other hand, being of thinner construction, they are probably a little lighter, so they could be a plus for some users.

2. This set is currently stocked in Kohls dept. stores, so if you want to get a first hand look before purchasing, that's where you'll find them. Bare in mind, there is some occasional variance from store to store as to what products they stock, but they SHOULD have this set in stock.

ok, that's it. g'day!

"Great Product", I was a little apprehensive about ordering this product. But since there were some favorable reviews and I had checked it out on consumer reports, I thought I would go ahead. Actually this is the first set I have bought (previously I would just buy unmatched pieces) that matched, and that I am happy with. I don't mind washing the pans by hand as they work quite well on my ceramic top cookstove. They recommend lowering the heat somewhat and I have found that the food cooks up well on a lower heat, with an even distribution of heat (that I didn't have with my old pans)the handles are quite comfortable, and the pans aren't too heavy for me. I had fx my elbow--so I am concerned about not having pans that are too heavy. I haven't used them in the oven yet so I can't comment on that. I was pleased with the price and the 2 day shipping. I'm glad Amazon had them available and for the price!

"Basic Cooking not for Entertaining", My sister and I purchased this product as a gift for our mother. She loves the non-stick surfaces and the ability to store the lids in limited spaces, however I think she was disappointed with the size of the pots and frying pan. Very small compared to her older cookware. Was not anxious to get rid of her old oversized cookware as she often entertains a large family. Is perfect for family of two.

"great", i've owned this set since december 07.
generally, i tend to burn things a lot, and let me tell you, this set took a beating during the first couple of months i owned it. i was pleasantly surprised with how it held up. i still use it, and have a feeling i will keep it for a long time. great price for the set too!!

"I Would Do it Again", I'm so glad I bought these. I researched, checked around and chose these hoping I would be happy. I am and the set is the right size for me. I had too many pans taking up space and when I got rid of all of them, tired of having things I didn't use, I settled for this and all pans are used - Don't pay more for a bunch of pans that aren't necessary.
