Others say...

"no more foggy mirror!"
I have a small bathroom and the space fills with steam during a shower. This fan took care of that problem.

It was easy to install and the motor is very quiet. A note on this...I had some vibration at first between the fan housing and the window jam, but after sliding a small piece of card stock in between--presto! no more noise.

It is great to take a shower and still be able to use the mirror when finished.

"Don't waste your time or MONEY!"
There was a review on this product previously but it appears to have been removed. I only wish I had listened to the warning about this piece of garbage.

Wow! What a waste of money. This simply does NOT WORK as a window exhaust fan. I bought it in order to exhaust potentially harmful fumes from my studio and set it up as directed per their instructions. I have other window exhausts but was looking for something a little smaller and more compact. The fan, when started, exhausted absolutely nothing even when a backdraft airflow was introduced. NOTHING. I contacted the company and told them they had sold me something useless and they offered to take it back and, since it was faulty, they wouldn't charge me the usual restocking fee. BUT, return shipping would be on me PLUS I would have to provide a box in which to nestle their precious BOXED returning product as the original box could not be harmed (no doubt in order to sell to another gullible sap).

Since it was going to cost almost as much to return the item as it did to buy it (plus you factor in the original high shipping cost) we now have that useless piece of garbage in our garage in its lovely original box.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. Why doesn't Amazon give the option of ZERO STARS?

What our customer's say!

"single window fan", This single window unit is perfect to move the air in a quiet manner. It is light weight and easy to install. The frame around it allows for a snug fit with the window and window sill.

"Great fan, as long as you know what you are getting. ", The fan is exactly what I wanted. We were needing an exaust fan that could be left in the window and easily covered to keep in the heat and air. Turns out that a shower hat easily placed over the fan (in the half turned position) will swing into place and the cap blocks the air exchange perfectly. We simply remove the shower hat or pull it to the side to use the exaust. It is quiet enough, and really pulls the air out.

"Quiet Twisted ", Nice fan - really moves a lot of air and at the low speeds it's very quiet. Maybe I missed it, but the reversable part of this fan is not by electric switch, but by twisting the fan on it's axis 180 degrees!
Now if you intend to mount it in a window behind a vent, like I did, it means you have to take it down each time to do that. For the price, it's a deal.

"9' exhaust fan.", Shipping as promised. Product mediocre at best. Their hype is just that. Product is back in shipping carton where it will likely remain ubtil I can give it away. Found better products for a lot less money locally. Would not buy another product from this manufacturer.

"Slight vibration", I bought 2 Air King 9122 9" window fans and they vibrate slightly enough to make the windows rattle if they are not closed tightly. The fans seem to be a copy of the old Dayton 9" window fans, but with a less balanced blade. Other than the slight vibration it is a well designed fan and comes with screws for permanent mounting. The fan is 22" wide, and my narrow sill window is 20.5" wide, but I was easily able to saw off 1.5" on one side, and still leave the sill adjustment slider on the other side. You could cut it down further to 19" if needed. This fan only has 2 speeds and no thermostat. Even though it says not to use an SCR fan speed control, it still seems to work OK with one, though a variable transformer causes less hum than an SCR control.
