"Storage" Needed extra storage for garage, and something simple to put together, but sturdy. Almost went together in a snap, would recommend using a rubber mallet if you have one...I didn't at the time, still managed to put it together. Looks neat. Only flaw to me is the deep recessed areas underneath the shelving which will be homes to spiders in the future unless sprayed regularly. "Stable, easy to assemble" These went together literally as fast as I could pull the parts out of the box, maybe three minutes total. They're sturdy enough to support my 160 lbs without twisting or bending. And there isn't a single metal part to rust. I'm done with the shelving made of steel and particle board; these plastic units are stronger and less hassle. "Quick to assemble, sturdy" These shelves are quick to assemble (a rubber mallet helps), and sturdy. I bought 6 sets, and actually used 4 shelves each, rather than 5 -- you can use any height you want. Much studier than typical plastic shelves, they really thought through the engineering well, with lots of internal supports an bridges so the shelves are strong. "Great Product" These shelves were very easy to assemble, and being "Rubbermaid" They will last forever. I purchased (4) units. I found the 72" height a little tall to stack items on the top shelf because I am a short person only 5'2". I solved this problem by assembling (5) units with four shelves high, instead of the original (4) units with five shelves high. I liked this product so well, that I just ordered an additional (4) more units to double my storage space! "Great Product!!!!" These are really nice shelves. The are very sturdy and easy to assemble. I highly recommend these.

What our customer's say! "The 5 shelf Rubber Maid shelf is the best!!", I already had a Rubbermaid 5 shelf, and wanted another like it. I searched all over and found it here. It is an excellent, easy to assemble, non rustable, and strong shelf unit. Great for storing anything. "Very Sturdy, Easy to Assemble", I bought 2 of these after moving into a new place. I was able to put them both together quickly and they are super strong! I would suggest using a rubber mallet to make sure the shelves seat all the way down on the supports. "Garage Storage Shelf", This unit works well for me. I did attach it to the wall to stabilize it. Since I have a foundation ledge around the garage, The back of the shelf sits on the ledge. I found that a piece of 1 1/2 plastic pipe cut to length will fit in the socket for the shelf supports and that solved the problem of uneven heights. "900 Pounds Goes a Long Way!", It is absolutely amazing how much stuff these shelves will hold. I have bought three of them so far from Amazon and may get more. I put one set in the utility room to use as a pantry. I have it completely full of canned goods, large bottles of juice, pop, dry goods, etc. It sets flat and takes the weight without complaint. I put the two other sets in the spare bedroom for general storage, which organized a-lot of stuff that had been lying around. A mallet comes in handy when putting them together (or the heel of a leather shoe). Just make sure you smack the shelves hard enough to completely seat them on the uprights (use your finger to feel inside the hole on top of the shelf to see if the upright is flush against the rim). This is a great product! "Exactly as promised", As all the other reviewers promised, this was a snap to put together. Took about 5 minutes, and holds a ton of stuff. Love it. I was doubtful that it was worth $70 for all this plastic. But for the ease of assembly alone, it was worth it. I have mine leaning against a wall. In my opinion, this is not sturdy enough to have standing alone in the center of your garage, but then most folks probably won't be doing that. 
Read this reviews before You buy... "Excellent for sturdy storage!", The price of this item has went up since I bought it a couple of months back (I only bought it for 49.99!), but it's definitely nice and sturdy. I put it in my garage and use it for food, drink, car items, and box storage. I didn't want to nail anything in the wall so this is a much better alternative. It's also VERY easy to assemble. You don't even need tools! Not sure why it has gone up in price but I would definitely check out home depot or something to see if they have anything equivalent for cheaper before buying this.
