"Neat concept"
I've gotten complements on these coasters. It would be nice if the picture could be larger. It's hard to find four tiny pictures or pictures pieces to put in them.

"See your memories"
I loved this! I received a similar one for a gift and put in some pictures that my daughter took. When she saw it with the pics in there she loved it so I bought her a set and inserted a set of pictures too. It looks great and we can keep our memories at our fingertips!

"Looks Beautiful"
I was very satisfied with the look/quality of this product, but was a little disappointed in the brown wood stand that comes with it. The stand on all 4 sets I ordered was starting to come apart at the seams (though no breakage) and was basically wobbly. A little reinforcement with some glue fixed the issue.

"coasters"
Coasters were very nice, holder also nice. The packaging was a little flimsy and the opening for the pictures was smaller than some of the ones I had seen at other places...good item for the price!

"A gift that went very well-"
I got this for a freind as a gift and she loved it- I loaded it up with some pictures of friends and got a great response.

What our customer's say!

"personal gift", I received these as a mother's day gift and was very happy with them. They do have a few smudges/scratches which might bother you if you are very particular. However I found once I put my photos inside, I hardly noticed these.
My photo printing software prints a 5.5Cm X 4.5Cm print which I found worked perfect in these coasters. I cut around the print with the 7Cm X 5Cm template that came in one of the coasters. This left a very small boarder (.25Cm) on 2 sides of picture, which doesn't show once inserted into the coasters. In the other direction (7Cm length), I left no boarder on one side, and a 1.5Cm boarder on the other side. This centered the photos perfectly, and left a long strip that extended out far enough that I can easily grab hold of it and remove the photos to replace them with new ones. It seems to work equally well with vertical or horizontal photos. This method also seems to eliminate the problem of the photos moving around inside the coasters. I thought it might be difficult to get the right size photos and get them centered, but it didn't take me long to get this figured out.
I take lots of photos, and this is a unique way to display some of them.

"Personalized Photo Coasters", I was looking for a very unique gift to "personalized" for an artist/photographer friend. I bought several sets. One set I filled with black & white photos, the other color. The artist has actually spread these coasters throughout their home, i.e. one under drinking glass in bathroom, several on end table in guest room. These are well made and make a great presentation. Also used as office gift and filled with co-workers photos as memento. I will purchase more of these as need arises!

"Terrible design and quality", 5 seconds after removing these from the box I have already decided they're never going on my coffee table. First, the "wood" holder is badly chipped and there are bits of black paint all over the coasters. But worse, the coasters themselves (which are tools meant to protect the finish of a table, if I'm not mistaken) have a metal backing with a fairly sharp edge underneath where the photo goes. It doesn't take a genius to recognize that within a few days of regular use that metal edge would cause all sorts of damage to a table much worse than a ring of moisture ever would, despite the tiny rubber feet on the bottom. As a test I found that I was easily able to shave the finish off a corner of an old table with no effort at all. Glad I only paid $10 since I'm sure I'll never get my money back.

"Don't buy these!", I would give these 0 stars if I could.

It is pretty difficult to get the photos in & out of these and if you drop them or hit them together at all, the sides will chip and due to the nature of the glass, fixes are easily seen.

I would not recommend these for a house with children or where things get dropped at all!

"don't bother", I purchased these coasters and a similar set. I don't care for these at all. They are cheaply made- the pics slide into a metal piece on the back. Mine arrived chipped and scratched. And the "mat" around the picture isn't a mat at all, it's just painted glass- which easily comes off. The space for the photo is small, as well.

Read this reviews before You buy...

"Great gift", I don't know if I would buy these for myself, but my Dad loved them with pictures of his daughters in it.
The design is a little weird however, I don't think I would've picked it if he didn't have black, modern decor in his office.

"Poor quality", I purchased a similar set of photo coasters from Crate and Barrel. They make a terrific gift. But, this particular set from Amazon is sure to disappoint. When the Amazon product arrived, one of the glass coasters was chipped and the wooden stand was broken. Based on the reviews below, it sounds like this is a systematic problem with this product. Save yourself the headache of battling Amazon's return department and purchase something of quality in the first place.

"Great idea but the reality falls short", We were given similar photo coasters, which we loved, but their corners chipped off in short order. So we bought three sets of these coasters as replacements. With minor repairs and modifications these coasters are good enough to use oneself, but they are certainly not good enough to give to friends. The set comes in a somewhat tacky plastic carton (no problem except for gifting). The decorative "wood" holder is actually particle board painted black and tacked together with staples. Two fell apart almost immediately on opening, and the third has staple ends showing. The glass is smaller than our previous coasters, but appears well made, with only a few almost invisible imperfections. Let's hope they don't chip. The photo holder is a metal plate with plastic feet. The gap that holds the photo is so wide that the photos are loose unless one makes a cardboard insert to hold them in. One has to be careful because the metal plate will come unglued from the glass if the cardboard insert is too thick (this happened on one set, but I re-glued it and used thinner cardboard on the others). One also has to be careful not to scratch the pale green "frame" which is painted on the glass. Any sharp object which contacts the back of the coaster will mar the painted frame (I mistakenly used the tip of some scissors to try to remove one of the photos from its slot). All in all, the idea gets 5 stars, but this version deserves 2 stars because of the shortcomings listed above.

"DON'T SET YOUR DRINK ON THE TABLE!!", "Don't set your drink on that table!!" That's what my mom is always screaming at me. You think she'd learn to stay out of the basement. After all, that's my domain and if she doesn't like my mess she doesn't have to look at it! I'm almost 30 years old, you think she could cut me some slack.

But until mom gives me a little more space, I have to obey her rules. After all, it's her way or the highway, and I wouldn't have time to work on my music and art if I were living under a bridge. So I picked up these coasters, and they really do the trick. They are so functional that it blows my mind. I just sit one on the table, and then I can sit my drink right on top of the thing and not worry about leaving rings on the wood. It's amazing!! And these things are easy on the eyes, too. As an artist, I can really appreciate that.

"Poor quality", Not very good quality...
1. They are painted unevenly, so the "rectangle" in the center is anything but. These centers are crooked and lopsided on pratically every coaster in my set of 8.
2. The slot for the photos is very large, allowing them to shift around and even fall out of the coaster.
3. The pieces glued to the underside fall off after a couple of months of use.

Something to watch out for in all glass coasters - we didn't anticipate this problem:
4. Place a cool glass on one of these coasters, and the condensation forms a seal with the smooth glass, which causes the coaster to stick to the glass when lifted, and increases the odds that the coaster will fall and break.
