Others say...
"Functional and useful answer to my knife problems" I searched for some time for the "right" knife holder, one that would not take much space, but that would hold every knife I use regularly. This compact unit does the job beautifully. The magnets are strong, and hold even the knives with the thinnest blades easily, and was easy to attach to the wall. 14" of the 15" is usable, though I do wish they had incorporated some way to store my knife sharpening steel as well, but a heavy duty cup hook took care of that. I have nine knives on the bar, ranging from the thinnest paring knife to the sturdiest chef's knife and can easily remove and replace them with ease, and nothing ever slips or slides. Well done! "Perfect!" This is perfect, its strong enough for even my largest knife! I have a small apartment kitchen and about 6 - 7 knives (4 large ones) and others that are medium to small all fit with ease. Its very handy and once away from traffic is a safe way to store knives! "Form and Function" This knife bar looks very sharp hanging in my kitchen. I don't know why I stuck with that ugly, unhygienic, counter-hogging butcher block for so long! It mounted easily, is sturdy and has just the right amount of magnetism. My only advice would be to get two! I find myself sticking all kinds of kitchen utensils to this, and no more "losing" the scissors. "Don't buy this knife rack! Designed very poorly" When knives are stored on this rack, the blade of the knife rests directly perpendicular to the stainless steel frame of the knife rack. When the user wants to store it or remove it from the rack, it is very difficult to do so without letting the edge of the knife hit the stainless steel frame. I have good, expensive knives, which I want to keep for my lifetime, and I never let them hit metal. And now with this rack it is nearly impossible to put the knife onto the rack, or remove it from the rack without letting the blade come into contact with the stainless steel. The only way to do it is to put the spine of the knife against the rack, and then slowly rotate the knife until it is resting flat against the magnet. When removing the knife, the reverse of the process must be done. If they had put a slim strip of rubber all the way around the perimeter (similar knife magnets have this), it would prevent the blade from touching the rack, thereby protecting the knives. I find it amazing that this model is reviewed so highly, because this is a problem that everyone has to encounter. "Works perfect!" It works perfect for my house. I have only one knife on it but it is strong and there is no fear of it falling. The price was great. No complaints here.

What our customer's say! "Strong magnetics but cheep screws", This magnetic strip is really strong. But the screws that came with the product were cheep, we ended up using some spare screws we had on hand because the top just melted into nothing and one of the tops broke off in the wall. So keep that in mind if you purchase this. "Great for a small kitchen.", This Magnetic Knife Storage Bar feels heavy and solid as it comes out of the package. It is easy to install with just 2 screws. The magnet seems just right - strong enough to hold the knives firmly, yet the knives come off easily when you need them. I installed mine at a 45 degree angle, and it still could hold all my favorite prep/cooking knives and a scissor (8 all together but 4 are smaller paring size). And, for me, it was also a big space saver in my small kitchen as it replaced a big bulky wood block. It looks good too! "Pretty nice if you want all steel...", This is a very nice knife holder...all steel as compared to the oak and steel one we replaced. Matches up nicely with the stainless kitchens that are currently(this 15 minutes) popular. Purchased at a 'sale' price, it compares favorably with the generally less expensive Rockler oak and steel holder that might be a touch stronger. No problem holding the knives, just not as strong as some other magnetized holders I've owned. "Get Your Knifes Out of the Draw", Very sturdy construction, and heavy. I thought I might use a two sided adhesive to apply this to the side of the fridge. Once I felt the heft of this product I knew I would have to find a place to use screws. Magnet is excellent at holding knifes with a large surface area. Boning and fillet knifes are held well, but be sure to have a good grip on them when removing them from the bar, as they release a lot easier than large knifes. Global knifes look particularly well with the design of this bar. I like this product enough that I will be purchasing another. "Great Product", I love the look of this knife magnet. Holds big and small knives securely. Installed easily. ![]()
Read this reviews before You buy... "Great item", I would recommend this product. Easy installation, strong magnet holds knifes securely, looks great, good price, and keeps the knifes from getting dinged up in the drawer which is where the were previously. Also slightly easier to put away than in the drawer which makes it more convenient. I was a little concerned about this item scratching my knifes. Absolutely no problems thus far. "Excellent Product", I would recommend this knife holder. It is very sturdy, and holds 2 large chef knives, a bread knife, and a small cleaver. Also note it is very heavy so keep that in mind when ordering it. "good-looking, functional, scratchable", This knife bar will hold about 6-8 knifes comfortably and looks pretty nice on the wall. It was simple to install (comes with a mounting template if you need it) and hold well against the wall. Make sure your knife/scissors span the entire thing when placing them on it or they will scratch the stainless steel in the middle. I scratched my with the tip of my scissor blades when I didn't put them on properly. It is made well, yet less expensive then some other ones I looked at. "Magnetic knife holder", Very strong magnets to hold the knives. Went up very easy.Cinch to clean.Looks nice on the wall, like it belongs there. "MIU Magnetic Knife holder", I saw this hung underneath an upper cabinet in the kitchen and wondered how well it would work. Going into drawers looking for knives is dangerous. My concern was the knives would fall off. Well, it is fantastic! The knives are accessible, visible and remain sharp longer. A suggestion, though. My cabinets are laminate and we screwed the holder into a shim first for extra strength. I love it! ![]() |
