Others say...
"Because they are inexpensive, I buy them" I just bought my second set. I bought the first set about 18 months ago. I lost the first one when I left it, just for a few moments, in a hot frying pan--when I turned back to the pan the handle had melted. NOTE: the heads are made of silicone and can stand the heat, the handles melt at the drop of a hat. Over time the handles got weaker and one by one the remaining ones broke--roughly in the middle. The heads remained in perfect condition, however, and I've kept them and have been tempted to make wooden handles for them, but when I saw these on a 4-for-3 sale, I figure, "Hey, why bother." The heads are nicely flexible but are not tapered and don't seem to work as well as other styles for scooping out gobs of mayo or peanut butter. They are fine for getting out that last bit out of jar or can. I love the little one for cleaning up tomato paste from the small cans. If you think of these as sort of "disposable," and you get them on sale, then you'll be happy. As I am. "Don't like it at all" I use silcone spatulas for baking almost everyday and like to try different new spatule. I order them due to the cheap price and muti-size. However; I was disappounted after try them out. First, the tip is too long from the handle; therefore, the tip is too weak to get nice control. Second, it can not scrap bowl clean like my old OXO does due to the long tip. Third, the whole tip is easy to come out from handle. "Colored Spatulas" Nice looking, strong and flexable. Look great when sitting out in my contertop canister for baking items. Don't soak up things like pizza sauce, etc. through the spatual so it looks dirty right away like my other rubber ones did. "Silicone Spatula set" Spatula set is exactly what I needed and is as I expected (and they are pretty in my kitchen). Dishwasher-safe is an added bonus. I have used them for just about anything that needs stirring or flipping or scrambling (much more effective than a wooden spoon or other inflexible implement). "just great!" i can't believe i waited so long to get silicone spatulas!! they make a WORLD of difference! i have ruined many a spatula stirring (e.g.) chocolate over the stove. no more! i even started using them in my savory cooking, to push around the tomatoes, chicken, mushrooms, whatever i'm cooking--they won't melt, and they won't scratch the pan!! i've had them for a few months and haven't had any problems, so i can't comment on the durability complaints.

What our customer's say! "Great Kitchen Tools!", Love these and use them literally every day! It doesn't bother me at all the head and handle are separate pieces because I haven't had them come apart during use at all and I have used these often. I do not put mine in the dishwasher though and perhaps that is where the problem is - maybe the heat from repeated dishwasher use causes them to contract and loosen. Personally I prefer to hand wash mine, which is not a problem since whenever I'm using them, I usually have something else I'm handwashing at the same time anyway. I love the colors - makes them extremely easy to locate quick in the utensil drawer. I especially love how soft and flexible they are, and they DO get every single drop of whatever it is you are scraping out. Heck they practically lick it clean!! Nothing is wasted and that's a good thing. I just love this set and truthfully, I wish I would have ordered 2 sets!! Great product - highly recommend. "Not very sturdy", I wanted spatulas with a silicone handle so I could put them in the dishwasher. The ones with wooden handles have to be handwashed, and that can be a pain. These are heat resistant and dishwasher safe, but not at all sturdy. The heads of the spatulas are too soft and bend a little too much, and they also slide off of the handles. If you're mixing a heavy cookie dough, these won't get the job done. They are fine for stirring some veggies in a non-stick skillet or for scraping cake batter out of a mixing bowl, but that's about it. "DON'T LICK THE FROSTING OFF THESE SPATULAS", Leaves a chemical after-taste if you like to lick the frosting off the spatula. Having said that, these spatulas do work very well, don't stain and don't cost too much. "pastel silicon spatulas", These pastel silicon spatulas are nice and are very usable, dishwasher safe and look pretty in the kitchen. "Love them. ", I love the different sizes and colors, of course. I use them every day. Great product and easy to clean. ![]()
Read this reviews before You buy... "Just ok", I only give it two stars because i do not like the spatula can come out. I have one silicone spatula at home that i really like and that is why i want more. I don't expect these really good price product doesn't come in with as good quality as the one i have. "Decent, cheap temp-safe spatulas", I use 'em to make my omelettes, and they do the job just fine. I clean them by hand, they clean up easy. I mean, unless they fail you completely, what can you say about spatulas? "High Quality", I used spatulas constantly when cooking and baking, so I have bought a lot of them at various stores over the years. These are the best! They are soft and flexible and durable. I would recommend them to all cooks and I plan to buy more of them for myself and as gifts. I would like to see them in white or black also. "cool looking", For spatulas, they are kind of cute. They work just fine, one had a slight flaw in the end, nothing that effects how it works. "Inconsistent in their quality", As far as they go, they're okay spatulas. But I found that while the pink ones were best for stirring, say, light batter for pancakes, the yellow spatulas were more prone to actually violating the space-time continuum - I had some good pans ruined by tesseracts while I was trying to make scrambled eggs, and I don't need to tell you how tough that is to clean up! Also, the lavender and the blue spatulas tended to cancel each other out - I used the lavender one to stir up some cookie batter, and I dropped it on the floor. So I switched to the blue one, and next thing I knew I had four discrete lumps of sugar, butter, flour and baking soda sitting on my kitchen counter. All I need is a spatula, not violations of causality! ![]() |
