"First rate processor"
This product was almost flawless. It's only fault was some dificulty in getting it's bowls to lock with ease. It required to much adjusting.

"the best one yet"
Works great!!!! Would be nice if it came with wide mouth stock then have to buy it

"Kitchenaid 12 cup"
This is a great product. It looks good, is easy to use and very sturdy.
Although somewhat pricey it is worth every cent. I leave it out on my countertop so I can access it quickly which ensures I use it all the time.
I would have liked a whisk to be included in the package and a few extra recipes in the handbook would have helped in getting to know the capabilities of this product. Otherwise I havve no negative comments about this processor.

"So easy to use"
Love this food processor. It's so easy to use, everything fits so well together and it does a great job. Made 2 different pie crusts and they turned out wonderful. I am so glad I picked this one.

"Why did I wait so long?"
I always considered a food processor to be a luxury item, something I could wait for. However, if I knew "then" what I know "now"! I will have to say it's a kitchen must-have for the person who loves to cook. I researched and read review after review and finally decided to purchase the KitchenAid. That was a wise decision; it's a wonderful (and handsome)appliance and holds true to all the attributes of former buyers. I can't believe how often I use it and how easy clean-up is. It's a kitchen dream come true! I would definitely recommend the 12 cup! What a joy it has been! Thanks Amazon!

What our customer's say!

"Excellent value for the money", This processor is a work horse. Well designed, easy to clean and quite sturdy - well balanced for large recipes. Having two different sized work bowls is wonderful! Convenient case to store attachments and blades. Love this machine and highly recommend it to those looking for a large food processor.

"Good Food Processor", I did several days worth of research on food processors before deciding to buy the Kitchenaid KFP750. I was concerned about some of the negative reviews. Several times I thought about not buying one at all because all of the ones I checked out had several negative reviews. I had primarily decided on either a Kitchenaid or a Cuisinart. I really wanted the wide mouth model but a lot of people complained about problems with the safety device and not being able to use the whole tube. The instruction book for the 750 even says "Unlike extra-wide feed tubes, there is no pusher interlock system, so the entire length of the tube can be filled with food." Finally, I looked at the percentage of 1 and 2 star ratings on all the models I was considering. The Cuisinart models had, by far, the highest percentage of 1 and 2 star ratings. The 750 had, by far, the lowest percentage of negative reviews (1 & 2 star) compared to Cuisinart and also compared to the other Kitchenaid models, so I decided I would purchase the 750. I am not disappointed.

The 12 cup bowl is large enough to handle most any job. As with any model there are, of course, limitations and it might have to be emptied if you are doing large quantities. Some reviews have stated that it is impossible to clean. I hate washing dishes and cleanup but I didn't find that to be a problem. Even with dough in the bowl, I just soaked it for a few minutes and it cleaned right up.

I have used the dough blade and found that it does a great job. It develops the gluten in the dough extremely fast. There is a possibility of the dough getting too hot but although it was warm, the yeast wasn't harmed and the bread raised very well. The inside of the dough blade is the only part that I found hard to clean. I had to run the backside of a knife around it and then stuff a dish clothe in it to get it clean. It would probably have done well in the dishwasher but I haven't tried that yet.

The small bowl is also nice to use. I chopped onion, tomato and peppers and it did a very good job. I had a little 1 /12 C. chopper that I used to use for such jobs but I had to do one item at a time. I will be giving it away because the 4 C. bowl will hold it all and it is not any harder to clean up than the small one. One review said that when using the small bowl, the large one got dirty too so you had to wash everything. I suppose if you over fill it that could happen, but I didn't have such a problem.

The 4mm slicing disc is just right for slicing potatoes. My old processor sliced things so thin the only thing it was good for was potato chips so I never used it. I sliced peppers with the 2mm slicing disc and that too was perfect. The 4mm shredding disc it the only one that I am not totally happy with. It did an okay job but was a little too fine for grading cheese for my taste. The cheese wanted to clump together. They suggest freezing cheese for 15 minutes and maybe that would have helped. It does fine for shredding vegetables such as cabbage and carrots for coleslaw, but I'd like to purchase the 6mm shredding disc for semi-hard cheese. One review complained about cheese curling up on top of the disc. My old processor did that but I didn't have that problem with the 750. It did leave a ΒΌ inch slice of cheese unshredded and some stuck to the top of the disc but if you like cheese you can surely find a use for what didn't shred.

Anyone who has used a food processor before and understands their limitations should be happy with this model. If you have never used one before and think they can do anything and everything perfectly then you might be disappointed.

"Kitchenaid self-mutilating food processor", This machine is the best one I could find and that is a sad thing. When the slicing blade is in use, the container does not fill evenly. The softest vegetables pile up in one spot when it is half full pushing the blade up which begins shaving plastic off the cover into your produce. I have about 10 jars of organic red sauce with plastic shavings that I could not detect until after canning. Also, the blade clogs easily and then the machine begins to roar and rumble and jump off the counter. When slicing several onions, be prepared to open and remove clog at least once per onion. What do the rich and famous do for a food processor these days? Surely not this. Not with a bang but with a whimper do things become obsolete before we bring them home.

"Fast & Sturdy", I'm very pleased with this machine. It grates cheese like a dream and make a few mere minutes work of my loads of zucchini. It's important to do all things according to the instruction booklet, such as with cheeses. This is indeed not a very good machine for liquids however, as others have stated. You Can do some liquid items, just don't over fill and do expect a little drippage down the center hole of the work bowl. Otherwise, it hasn't frozen up or given me any trouble thus far. The mini-bowl is also useful for when you want to chop a little something up and/or when the bigger work bowl is already dirty and you don't want to mix flavors or wash it just yet. The accessory box is also handy for keeping things organized.

"A kitchen must", What a great handy tool. Easy to use. Well made and features easy cleanup. The 12 cup is the one to buy. Really love this indispensable kitchen appliance.

Read this reviews before You buy...

"Thank goodness for reviews!", I am so glad I read reviews first!. I had my heart set on the Cuisinart. After reading all the reviews, I decided to go for the Kitchenaid. This was a much obsessed over birthday present. Everything everyone has said is true! It is remarkably quiet, easy to use, easy to clean & I love that the accessories have a storage box included. It feels very heavy duty & well made. I also know from dealing with Kitchenaid in the past, they are an excellent customer service company. When I had something go wrong with my stand mixer, they sent out a replacement immediately & shipped the other one back with no problems. I was very impressed with how easy it was. I look forward to many years of fun with this machine.

"Wonderful purchase!", I received this item yesterday and am already loving it. Whipped up bread dough for French bread in about 2 minutes - literally! Motor is very quiet and the unit is sturdy. Another thing worth mentioning is that this processor is very attractive and professional-looking - I am making room for it to stay on my counter rather than putting it away between uses. If you are looking around and researching processors, stop your search here and buy this one...I don't think you will regret it!

"KitchenAid Food Processor", I love my KitchenAid Food Processor! It is so quiet and smooth. The added feature of the mini food processor incorporated in it is great!
I use it more because there are only two of us. So when I need a big job done I have the 12-cup feature too. It is a great and innovative idea from KitchenAid. Also, I received my product very promptly and I sent in for my rebate and it was received fast. So all-in-all, I am very pleased! Thank you, Amazon, love your site!

"great product", I got this for my friend's mom, as I already got the same one for myself for almost 4 years now. This food processor save a huge of time while making my son's food while he was a baby and right now I use this from making pizza dough, slicing vegetables or just simple making mash potatoes. Love it, fast, durable and what else I can say, good buy :)

"Not for liquids....but fantastic for everything else!", We bought the Kitchenaid food processor after a lot of research, and after seeing what a great deal was offered with a rebate. We have put everything possible into it and it does a fantastic job with everything....well, almost. Our only hesitation was several reviews that stated an issue with liquids leaking. Thinking we had to be smarter, and using the 12 cup bowl, we attempted to pulse up some eggs with rosemary and cooked bacon. All seemed well until the egg got into the upper part and started leaking. It also leaked in the center where the blade is placed. We came to the conclusion that the blender was for liquids, and the processor is for semi- to full solids. This was somewhat of a dissapointment since this means dirtying two appliances, but given what it CAN do I don't regret the purchase at all. I have done everything from whole raw carrots to mashed potatoes in this and they have all been perfection. I was especially impressed with the grater. It grated soft colby cheese like a dream...no more skinned knuckles for the hubby. A great buy...just don't use it for liquids.
