"The Hottest Iron Around" I never LOVED an iron before but I can honestly say that I LOVE this iron. It gets hot fast and I only have to go over each item once! It isn't light weight but it isn't cumbersome heavy either. The digital aspect took me a minute or two to catch onto but now I'm an old pro at it. I love the little water container that comes with the iron. It is shaped perfectly and does the job of getting the water into the reservoir. I wouldn't hesitate for one second to purchase this iron. "Great Value" When my old iron finally gave out I purchased this Black and Decker iron. I never realized just how bad my old iron was until I used this iron. It gives out plenty of steam to iron clothes in a hurry. Light weight, I would recommend this iron to anyone purchasing a new one. I would have given it 5 stars if it held more water; however, I keep a water bottle filled and use that to refill when needed so not really any trouble. "Black &Decker flatiron" I highly recommend This iron. It has all of the features that anyone could want in a flatiron.I love to use it as it has just the right feel and heft and you can adjust the amount of steam that you need. You can also use the iron in an upright position to steam a garment.It really is a wonderful iron and I feel that I got a great deal.Thank you. "Best Iron Ever" I purchased the B & D D2030 expecting little, but receiving a lot. The steam feature on this iron is so good, it is a joy to use. No more pushing the button for steam and getting a "poof." This iron really gives you what you want, at all settings. Great digital readings, you can use it vertically, just steaming instead of iron and the best part is, all this for less than $50! "Very smooth iron (no pun intended)" I finally replaced the cheap-o iron I'd had for 15 years, and boy, was it time. I picked this iron because of the good reviews, and I was not disappointed. The D2030 heats up in record time, the settings are easy to use and the spray of steam is great when you need a little extra oomph. The water receptacle is nice-sized so you don't have to fill up mid-ironing. There is no leaking or spitting of the water during ironing like I'd had in my old iron, either. The iron has just enough heft without being too heavy, and the sole plate is larger than average, which means you cover more surface area in a shorter amount of time. I heartily recommend it. It's a great product and a great value. Why spend more?

What our customer's say! "Great Iron!", We've run the gamut from cheap to very expensive, and found this iron to be among the best. Features I really like: - Heats up fast, almost twice as fast as others I've used. - Ready indication, let's me know when its up/down to the set temperature - Large water reservoir - steam on high really kicks, so you'll need this Peeves: - Steam control knob seems ok at first, but I find I have to be careful not to change the setting when picking the iron up or putting it down as my hand tends to brush against the dial. - The plastic water filler bottle provided only half-fills the reservoir and won't stand up. Would it have hurt to include a larger bottle and mold it so it has a flat bottom? Overall - great product, highly recommended! "Rowenta.....what?", Owned a Rowenta, loved it, but dropped it and had to buy a replacement iron. Saw the Black and Decker iron thought I would give it a try because it was a lot cheaper than the Rowenta.....not expecting anything but a normal iron........Hello!! It stands side by side with the Rowenta I had.....will not buy anything but a Black and Decker iron. Wonderful product and at least half the cost. Bravo! Thank you Black and Decker!!! "We Have a Winner!", I have had a high end Sears iron, a lesser B&D, a really cheap Sunbeam, one that was mid-priced and so bad I gave it away to a rummage sale in the original box a week later. I also tried out a Rowena for a couple of day's that belonged to family member. The Sears and the lesser B&D just stopped heating within a year. The first iron I bought was the cheep sunbeam that had great steam and a metal sole plate with a non stick surface the worked good, the trouble was it shut off every 15 min. no matter what you did and if you weren't paying any attention it dumped water all over the garment, but I would tell myself "Hey for 14.95 not a bad iron." The next was the Sears and it had too little steam and the sole plate was stainless steal that would muck up with, who knows what, and I was cleaning it every two weeks. I had to scratch the surface to get the crud off. It then stopped heating 3 months later. No receit...a loss. The lesser B@D had great steam, but the same problem with the sole plate. I believe, either the grade of stainless steal. or the fact that both irons (Sears and the lesser B&D) had low points on the sole plate making a spot for the crud to stay in was the reason for this. At any rate it died 4 months later... Another loss. The one I gave away had more problems than I can list, and I was not impressed with the Rowena let alone at the price. So I did more research and found this B&D model D2320. It does everything great and I have no complaints. The steam is as good as I have seen on a hand held iron. The sole plate, after 2 months is as clean as when I bought it (I could shave in it if I shaved, :). It only tuns off when not moved and turns off quickly if left on it's sole. I like this arrangement. Cord is real long and it holds a lot of water. If it dies in the first year, as many irons do including Rowena's, according to my research. I have a plan this time. I have taken all information and put it in the original box with info on my registering the iron so I can send it back. If it keeps working it is all the iron I want. "Wonderful iron", I got this iron based on reviews I read, and have not been one bit disappointed. I like the weight and the controls. The steam is perfect. "Very Nice Iron!", This iron works well. It warms up quick and I have not had a issue with it dripping. The only complaint that I can see someone having is that it is a little heavy but other than that, this is a great iron. 
Read this reviews before You buy... "Great iron", I put off buying a good iron for a long time because I'd purchased irons for thriftiness and suffered the consequences. I was ready to spend a little more and get a better product but I wanted to look at consumer reviews before I ordered. I'm glad I did. It's a very good iron. The shot of steam is powerful and it's a reasonable weight for the desired outcome I expect. I definitely recommend the product. "B&D D2030 Iron Review", My Black & Decker Digital iron works really well. Initially, the auto-cleaning function was a bit confusing, but I figured it out. It feels more substantial and powerful than any iron I've had before. "Black & Decker digital iron review", Best iron we have owned. Heats up quickly. Maintains temperature. Good steam delivery. Very reliable. "Stand up safety", Unlike previous steam irons that I've owned, the B & D makes the tasks so much simpler and safer by simply standing on end while not being used...I don't know how many times that my previous irons fell over because the stand up ability was poor...Not now, the B & D has a stable base for stand alone safety and I don't have to worry about keeping an eye on it to catch it if it falls...Well built but light weight, this iron is easy to fill and use...just pick the desired function (steam, no steam, cotton, low heat, etc.) and, you will be very pleased with the results. "I LOVE THIS IRON!!", This is the very best iron I have ever used. It was worth every penny. It works exactly as it indicates and does not spit or spill water as most irons will do. Also, this iron has an extremely long cord, which is helpful. I am tempted to buy two or three to put on the shelf for gifts. I should have known to stick with a Black & Decker. Thanks! |
