"used daily" I thoroughly enjoy cooking with this pan. It cooks evenly and cleans easily. The size is also great for smaller portions. I recommend this product. "Super pan, super price" For $15.99 plus super saver shipping, this pan is exceptional. Realize that this is a teaser price on one pan in order to get you to buy more of them. In my case, I just needed a small saucepan, with a glass lid, that would go in the dishwasher. This pan is so much more; the weight is substantial for the size of the pan, plus the workmanship is definitely high end. Whether you need just one lone pan or are considering this line for a complete set, you will be pleased. January 24, 2008 update: I cannot begin to tell you how much I love this pan. Of anything I've ever owned, Farberware Millenium, RevereWare, Circulon, Oneida, or Cuisinart, the Simply Calphalon is by far the best. They cook well, and they clean up in the dishwasher even better (the pan comes out looking brand new every time). It's making me think about clearing out everything else and using just the Calphalon. "it's a saucepan" It works, it cleans. I use the it almost every day and it stays in excellent condition. What more could you want from a 1 qt. saucepan? People complain that the cover gets hot. I've never had a saucepan cover that didn't. Gotta invest in a potholder. I do like the glass lid - can see in without taking off the cover - saves wear and tear on the potholder! And it fits well. "don't buy" I generally love caphalon butthe stainless steel collection is rather poor. Not easy to clean everything sticks to it.. Only good for liquids. And this pot is the smallest ever! and really heavy to lift!! "Great quality" I purchased this as a replacement piece but it is well worth it. The quality is great.

What our customer's say! "Calphalon 1qt. sauce pan", This is an excellent product in a size that is not easy to find. The handle is cleverly designed to be comfortable for either right- or left-handed folks. The bottom is heavy, meaning even heating over high flame. The glass lid is a definite plus and is well-constructed (often the handles on glass lids are affixed with screws; this one is riveted). I rate this A+. "great little pot", I love this pot, and use it once or twice a day from making oatmeal, to boiling pasta, to making cheese sauces. I've never had a pot boil water so quickly. It cleans up so easily, even if I put in in the dishwasher. The only thing this pot didn't recover from was when my husband severely burnt popcorn in it. We had to order another one. Fortunately they had it on Amazon. "great value for little money", I bought a set of these pots and pans from Calphalon at TJMaxx to use for two years at an on-site job residence. Great price (better than here), good design, ergonomics and construction, all of which tie together in one sophisticated little pan. That's the reason for the 5-star rating: quality + value. You can buy a better pot (like All-Clad), but not for the prices you'll pay for these. In fact, when TJMaxx sold out of these, I ordered more through amazon. As for those features I alluded to: every pan or pot in the group (I have every size) has a good heft and distribution of weight. All handles, included those on the lids, are riveted (rather than welded), and they do stay cool. The tri-ply construction disperses heat evenly, and they all have oven viability. The exterior's brushed 18/10 stainless steel is apt to keep its good looks for a long time. I wasn't too sure if I would like the glass lids, but now wouldn't buy otherwise. Lid-handles stay somewhat cool, but are high and open enough for hand and pot-holder without burning your knuckles. Lids fit well, letting only minimal amounts of steam escape, which is great for simmering or cooking at low temps. I'll be leaving that temporary residence and moving back to my home in a few weeks, and these pots and pans will go with me. I'm certain that they'll outlast their 10-year warranty. "Keeps going...", I got a set for my wedding 6 years ago. I mainly use the 1 and 2 quart pans every day (I kid you not) for the last 6 years. Through my burning it many many times, and cooking a million kinds of "experiments" in it, it still keeps going and looks brand new. Washing is a breeze, and I scour it with one of those plastic round sponges that looks like a donut when needed (not sure if I'm suppose to but it hasn't hurt it). My one little tiny complaint is that the lid does get hot--a little rubber added to the top like my Analon lids would help. Still, I'm going to order one for my sister for a wedding gift right now. "Calphalon ", This pot is fabulous. I liked it so much I ordered a second one. It is very handy for two people and very easy to clean - even after our morning oatmeal! The glass lid is perfect for keeping an eye on what's cooking without having to open the pot and peer inside. I put it in the dishwasher occasionally, and it comes out looking like new! Very highly recommended. Now I want the 1 1/2 quart size.
