"Olde Thompson Peppermill and Salt Shaker Set", The Olde Thompson 7-Inch Del Norte Peppermill and Salt Shaker Set is a very nice set that performs well. I searched a long time for a pepper mill, and found that the cost of most decent qualtiy models locally was near the cost of this set. So in the end I took the plunge.

The peppercorns that are included with this are very high quality. They will run out quickly with daily use, so buy some early to have on hand.

The only real caveat I have is that some people prefer this type of set with the salt shaker and some might like the salt grinder. I originally thought the salt shaker was good enough for me. After buying a different version by olde thompson that included the salt grinder, I wish I would have gotten them both that way. Most people won't notice the difference but the ground sea salt has a very subtle taste that is harder to *over-salt*.

Other than that, this is a great value. The metal ends give you nice stability and something to turn when grinding.
