"Perfect!"
This scale is a great buy. It's accurate and very, very easy to use and doesn't take up a lot of space. It seems to be very well crafted. I use it many times a day and am very happy with the purchase. This in one product I can easily recommend.

"Nice little kitchen tool"
So far so good with this scale, which I got to replace a nicer looking American Weigh Scale unit, which unfortunately eats expensive lithium button batteries like there's no tomorrow. This one uses AA batteries, a big advantage by comparison. (Haven't had it long enough to know how long batteries last, though.) Functionally it's a little nicer, too, with a separate button which allows you to switch between English and Metric without turning the scale off and on again. A separate button turns it on (or zeroes it out-- tare function-- if it's already on); it's much less likely to get turned on accidentally than the other unit, which could be an advantage if you were planning to store it in a drawer. It shuts itself off to save the batteries after a while, or you can hold the on/tare button down for a couple of seconds to turn it off manually.

As far as accuracy goes, I checked one scale against the other and they gave either identical readings or 1 - 2 gram difference on several objects of various weights up to about 1.5 kg.

All in all, it seems to be a nice scale for the money, very compact and easy to use. It works pretty well as a postal scale, too, although a larger package may cover up the display (you can get around this by putting a small flat object or bowl on the scale, using the tare function, then stacking the package on top).

"Would purchase over and over again!"
I am extremely pleased with this product. Could not have found a better one. It is used several times daily, and sits on my counter at all times.
Just the perfect size! No cons whatsoever.

"Simple scale, works great"
It works exactly as expected. Measures in grams or ounces/lbs and has a tare function. Just a basic scale, but that's all I expected and exactly what I wanted.

"love this scale"
LOVE it, love it , love it. This small scale is great. Does the job and looks great, lightweight. I am doing Weight Watchers and it does the job with grams, oz, and lbs. Worth the money.

What our customer's say!

"Not just for the kitchen", This scale is great. I use it to weigh my guinea pigs. I love that I can set a basket or other container on it and zero out then add the guinea pig. It even seems to tolerate a certain amount of wiggling with out fuss.

"Portion control wonder", This is a great product, it looks nice in the kitchen and it is fun to play with. Even the kids are using it!

"LOVE THEM", These scales are so accurate! No problems at all!! Love them and work great !!

"Very inaccurate", After reading so many positive reviews, I was surprised and disappointed by what arrived in the mail today - a flimsy and inaccurate piece of equipment. It's made of thin, bendable plastic and was not nearly as solid as it looks in the photos. Worse, the scale is not even close to accurate. I put a certified 30gm weight onto the scale - which registered five grams. I tried several other items, all registering weights that were wildly off-base.

I'll be sending this back!

"Fantastic kitchen scale! Accurate, fast, easy to use", We bought this scale when our old one was dying. The old scale took ages to zero and the weight would change with the slightest shifting of the item being weighed. Not so with this scale. It zeros quickly and has the option of manually turning it off. The weight is accurate, even if you remove an item and place it back on the scale. We use it to measure portion sizes, and so far, it has worked perfectly.

Read this reviews before You buy...

"Cute & Practical", I bought the silver one to go with my stainless appliances. It is cute and compact. Love the fact that it uses Double A batteries, the most common one out there. And it comes with Energizers as your first set.

I found it to be very accurate and got the same results repeatedly. The tare function worked perfectly for me and it is very easy to use. Set bowl on scale, after it weighs, press tare, add banana, press tare, add apple, press tare, and so on. And you have a perfect serving of fruit salad!

It is accurate at very low weights and weighs up to 11 lbs, although I have yet to try anything that heavy. Seems durable and reliable. I would highly recommend it to everyone looking for an accurate, compact scale that's cute as well.

"Marvelous scale", I bought this scale as a combination kitchen/postage scale. I use it more for postage since I mail a lot of different stuff regularly. The scale is exceptionally accurate, with my weights without exception agreeing with the postal service scales. It's very attractive and functional, exceptionally easy to use.

I've noted some reviewers stating the difficulty of seeing the readout if one places anything larger than a small plate on the scale. My simple solution is to first put an "elevator" (I use a 32 oz. plastic yogurt container) on the scale that WON'T block the readout, then use the tare function to zero out the weight of this "elevator". THEN place the item you want to weigh on top of the "elevator". You get an accurate weight since the "elevator" weight is tared-out PLUS you can see the readout clearly since the elevator gets the object up high enough to not block the readout. I mailed an item the other day that was 36" by 24" and by using this "elevator" trick I got the exact weight and could see the readout quite clearly.

To summarize - extremely accurate, practical, attractive, and affordable. My only wish was it had a higher capacity (maxes out at 11lbs.) For most appplications, though I give it five stars all the way.

"Good Scale.", As mentioned in other reviews the readout is hard to see if you use a full size dinner plate. This can be gotten around by zeroing out the scale before you put the food on the plate, then zeroing it out with the food on the plate. Remove the plate and note the negative amounts on the readout. Subtract one from the other and "Voila!" you have the weight of the food even though you cannot see the readout when the plate is in the way. Still a good scale.

"inexpensive scale does the trick", the title says it all. if you need to weigh some food for portion control, this little scale works. It is small enough to be easily tucked away in my kitchen. and the numbers are very big and easy to read. However, it can be hard to read the numbers when you have a plate hanging over the edge.

"Convenience ", Making breads by myself often, I depend this gadget strongly. It can help me do most of my measuring job accurately.
