Others say...
"so far so good!" Got the twin size to use for the occasional guest. Inflated really quickly (about 45 seconds) and easily. My sister slept on it for a week; her only complaint was that it was difficult to sleep on her side, but I think that's just a thing with airbeds in general. The little inflate/deflate button is really fun and easy, so it will work for people who like hard or soft mattresses. Deflated just as quickly, rolls up easily and fits in the little bag without any fuss. "Owner of two of these beds" This is the second one of these I have purchased. This new unit has the same name but it is somewhat difference than the first one. This unit looks like an older model. It's air pump is visible and somewhat junky looking, whereas the first one has the pump enclosed in a very modern looking case. It is also noisier and slower to inflate and it does not have the third control button which allows you to adjust the pressure readily. This one just inflates and deflates. Would prefer to have the "newer" model. Not real happy that I received this one. "Love my new bed" I've been sleeping on my new Aerobed for about 4 weeks. It was super easy and fast to set up due to the interior pump. Queen size sheets really do fit on it perfectly. I have chronic back pain and used to get up with my worst pain of the day because of my mattress - 4 in 15 years. Finally, a bed that soothes my back overnight instead of irritating it. I LOVE MY AEROBED!!! "As advertised" Bed was comfortable. Ajustable inflation control made a big difference in comfort. Inflated quickly, built in motor is nice. No brainer to use. Previously had purchased a Simmons Beauty rest which was found unfomfortable by the same individual who slept on the Aero Bed. "I love this Aerobed!" I have had this Aerobed for a few weeks and I have used it about 10 times. I used it while I was on vacation for a week and I was very comfortable. I have back problems so it is much better then sleeping on the floor. The built-in air pump works great and the bed fills with air in less then a minuet. I bought a twin, so the time may be different depending on the size. After it is deflated, I roll it up and put it into a 2O inch duffel bag. There is plenty of room to fit sheets and blankets too. So far I really love this Aerobed, I hope to have it for many years.

What our customer's say! "One way ticket to a bad night's rest - Buyer beware!", First, let me say that I am a loyal and happy Amazon customer. I have always had positive experiences with them, and they are not to blame for this badly designed product. Also, I don't write negative reviews lightly - a product really has to deserve my scorn. Here goes... I bought my first Aerobed in 2000. I was thrilled with it. It was so comfortable that I slept like a baby - and amazingly, it even helped my painful sciatica to heal. I enjoyed it for a couple months, then it broke. I used the vinyl patch repair kit (what a pain in the patoot!), and I eeked another few nights out of it before it finally gave up the ghost. No worries, I was still so happy with the product that I bought another one. And another after that. But years passed and the designs kept changing. "Improving." Ha! It seems to me that they get worse with each re-design. I've now owned at least 12 Aerobeds, and the one I bought several weeks ago will be my last. I give up. The last 3-4 beds I ordered haven't even made it through a week of nights without leaking - but I remembered how much I loved them in the early days, and I bravely kept buying them, hoping and praying that they would work as well as the first few. The most recent one I bought leaked from the moment I inflated it. It couldn't have happened at a worse time. After a long, exhausting day of travel - 12 hours on the road driving from Arizona to the Bay Area, my husband and I got to our hotel, desperate for sleep. I plugged the Aerobed in, blew it up and... it deflated in ten minutes... I could have screamed in frustration. The culprit: two tiny holes near the valve which my irritated husband discovered after a 20 minute search at 1:00 a.m. NOT FUN. Sleeping on the hotel bed was hell... but it was better than having to reinflate the accursed Aerobed every 10 minutes - or trying to use the patch kit in our state of utter exhaustion (as it requires a good chunk of time for the glue to dry before the bed can be used). I have found that disasters like these usually happen at night, when people are most tired, desperate for sleep and are least able to handle a problem. I should mention that I always read the instructions throughly, know the temperature and weight requirements and understand that the beds are not meant to be permanent sleeping arrangements. I did, however, expect the recent models to last more than a night or two. Anyway, I threw the dratted bed away. $120 smackeroos the drain (more if you count the previous disasters), but I'd rather give up the cash than have to deal with the Aerobed customer service folks. Returning these products can be a nightmare. I had a unpleasant experience a few years ago with one of their non-friendly phone reps who challenged everything I said. If that weren't enough, two of my good friends have horror tales of their own to tell... so I am not even going to waste my time. For those of you who use an inflatible mattress while traveling, I've found a fairly comfy alternative... I went to Linen n' Things and bought a couple twin size memory foam mattresses. I stack them one on top of the other, and they provide a pretty comfortable night's sleep on notoriously hard hotel room beds. Then I just roll them up together in the morning, and tie a bungee cord around them. Easy as pie to transport. So... bottom line to all of you who are thinking about buying an Aerobed - think again! "Very comfortable", AeroBed 11813 Premier Comfort Zone Queen Aero Air Bed MattressThis bed is very comfortable. I have had it for about 4 weeks now and has not lost any air. "LOVE the AeroBed!", I bought this for my daughter who lives in a studio apartment; I was the first to sleep on it. It was comfortable & compact with it's own storage bag which I was able to use even with the sheets and blanket still on the bed! The built in pump worked perfectly during both inflation & deflation. It took less than one minute to inflate and about the same to deflate. And when it's deflated it is literally void of air. Amazing product. My daughter in law used it after I did and she also loved it. "very good product!", aero bed is really really good...i am sleeping on it everyday now. easy to inflat and deflat.no air leakage so far.. i got it because it's too expensive to buy a realy bed, and i am only stay for 6 months here.. but you can easily feel the difference between an air mattress and a real bed. i am still very much perfer a real bed, if I had money, i would by a real bed, at least a real mattress... "Overnight guests liked it", Our overnight guests liked it; thought it was good enough for a couple of nights. Our daughter thinks it makes a great trampoline, though we try to limit the jumping! ![]()
Read this reviews before You buy... "Aerobed is not for everynight use", Never comfortable with a conventional box and springs, and fearful of leaks with a waterbed, we wanted an air bed. We had previously purchased and returned a SleepNumber bed, which has a divider separating the two halves of the bed, so that one sleeper rolls onto the other, and sleeping on top of the divider is rediculous. We had tried cheap air mattresses, which leaked almost from the start. Finally got the Aerobed, and were delighted with it until it started leaking and coming apart after 4 months. We contacted Aerobed, and they said that the Aerobeds are NOT intended for continuous use. But nothing in the advertisements said this, and the price is high enough that we expected better than only being able to use it occasionally. Aerobed sent a replacement under warranty, and despite warnings that it isn't suitable for regular use, we are going to try it again. There just isn't any other game in town. "Almost like a real bed.", I got this airbed a few weeks ago, since I moved to a new flat and had no furniture when moving in. So I used the airbed as my regular bed for about a week, until the "real" bed arrived. The Aerobed turned out to be perfect! Easy to inflate in a minute or so, and you can perfectly adjust how soft or hard you want it to be via the remote it comes with. I also found the soft cover that comes with it very useful. I slept very well! No back pain or a stiff neck on the next morning, no waking up in the middle of the night, as I have experienced with other temporary sleeping solutions. After usage it is very easy to deflate, this happens also automatically. After usage you can store the bed in the bag that comes with it, it's not very big when deflated. I highly recommend the airbed, if you are looking for a temporary sleeping solution for you or your guests, go for it! "Good basic model", Prior to this one, I had the Aerobed "off the floor" model. While I thought the convenience of a standard bed-height inflatable bed would be nice, it actually turned out to be a hassle. It took up a lot of room, weighed quite a bit, and required a fair amount of work to deflate, roll up, and stash. This model is very comfortable (friends report no air loss during the night) and a cinch to roll up and return to its stuff sack after use. It's also very lightweight and portable -- nice for uses such as camping as well as an extra guest bed. This is my third Aerobed (one traveled to my nephew's small NY apartment and "mysteriously" never returned), and I remain a fan of both the concept and the brand. "The nights could be longer....", So I just moved to LA and have been sleeping on the Aerobed until my bed arrives. It is much better than cheap air mattresses and well worth investing in a pricier air mattress, especially if you need to be sleeping on one for a couple weeks. My sister has one too in Brooklyn for guests. So considering that it is an air mattress, it is the best one that I have ever slept on. "Sleeping like a baby...", I purchased this bed and have slept on it for the past week. I believe in trying things out to make sure my guests won't suffer from backaches, etc. The Aerobed provides a comfortable night's rest. I have slept like a baby after trying this air mattress out. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. ![]() |
