Corelle Coordinates Callaway Teapot
Why I buy this one ? - Tea pot which has ripple like ridges around bottom - Dishwasher safe for long lasting patterns Special offer for you..find the cheapest! What our customer's say! "Thank you Amazon", bought this for my sister who chose this pattern before realizing how difficult it was to find. Thank you amazon for having so many products in this pattern. "Nice Teapot", When I first recieved this teapot it had a few small chips in the glaze. So I called the 800 number for Corelle. They had great customer service and sent me a replacement right away. I didn't even have to send the damaged one back. (Makes a nice decoration.) About the teapot: This is a pretty teapot, even nicer than in the picture, it has ripple-like ridges around bottom. I like the versatility of it too - being able to put it in the microwave (to warm tea back up), oven (to warm it before putting tea in), and dishwasher. I haven't tried it in the latter though because I am too worried about glasses etc. clanking against it, and my dishwasher usually gets pretty full anyway. It is not that hard to wash by hand, and I feel like I am able to get all of it clean that way (no spots I can't get to). One minor issue I have is that the top opening is slightly smaller (it's than I would have liked - it is a little tricky if you have a large infuser ball. The one I have just barely fits - I just have to carefully put in one side, then the rest will go in. I think this probably happens with most teapots though. The lid is also nice, it has a point that catches on the inside so that it stays in place when you pour. And it pours very nicely too. Seems to keep the tea warm pretty well, although, like I mentioned before, you can just stick it in the microwave and heat it back up if you don't get to the tea soon enough. This teapot doesn't have a filter in the spout, either, so if you plan on using loose leaves (without an infuser) you will have to pour through a strainer. I personally think the tea tastes fine using an infuser, and also you don't have to worry about the tea getting too strong in the pot that way. It's a good size (at least four cups) so you could use for company, yourself, or brew iced tea. Bottom line, I am very happy with my purchase, and see having it around for a long time. ![]()
