"quality dishes", I did order these dishes from an Amazon merchant. Unfortunately, she wrapped placed them loose in a box with newspaper between them. Ten out of Sixteen pieces were broken. I sent them back to her and was pretty disturbed when she never issued me a credit and denied receiving them. BUT, Amazon graciously refunded my money. I recommend these dishes and would like another set to match mine. The only problem I see is that they do get Silverware markings on them after regular use. I think it's because they are white.

"poor condition upon arrival", Good product but it is not one that should be sold by Amazon. Original packaging (box around breakable plates) was stuffed into a shipping box with minimal additional padding. First box, five of sixteen items arrived broken...second box, 3 of sixteen arrived broken with even worse packaging...Amazon is lucky it even made it...have returned it asking for refund...good product made bad by God awful packing, God awful shipping, God awful service. Amazon failed miserably on this one.
