"Corelle Shadow Iris", This was my pattern years ago and after I got separated from my dishes, I thought I would never have this pattern again. I found it on Amazon at a great price! My set arrived in perfect condition! I will enjoy them now for many years!

"Sturdy yet elegant", I ordered this set to add on to our existing shadow iris collection. The first time around the piece arrived in shards, and we were worried that amazon wouldn't be able to help us. No problem! We called up customer service and they sent us a replacement set within 48 hours in perfect condition.... mind you, Corelle claims it's dinner ware is break and chip resistant ....in my opinion, this refers to normal wear and tear, dishwasher and microwave related incidents, even the occasional plate slipping from your hand....I'm convinced our first set was thrown about before it arrived at our doorstep...coming back to the dinner set, we've used these pieces over and over and they look as good as new....the plates look much prettier than they appear in the pictures....the serveware pieces (casserole, covered dish) look a little old-fashioned to me, so I wouldn't add these pieces to your collection unless you're looking for something with a vintage, flowery look...all in all, Corelle lives up to it's high standards

"nothing but broken", I never even saw the product.
I couldn't even open the box. I could tell from the sound it was in a million pieces - I let them send me another. Guess what -- again - I knew I didn't even need to ope the box. Sent everything back. At least the refund was prompt.

"Lasts almost forever", Twenty years and they still look terrific! I bought these Corelle Shadow Iris sets a little over 20 years ago as I was going off to college. We're still using them and now having three boys, we've only broken 2 or 3 dishes (preschoolers dropping them on the hardwood floor); otherwise they still look like new. The pattern was discontinued for a few years at the end of the 1990's, they then brought the pattern back.

"Beauty and function!", I needed lighter dishes due to increasing pain in my hands from Rheumatoid Arthritis. I have VERY heavy stoneware dishes and just couldn't handle them anymore. I remembered that Corelle dishes were very light weight so I started looking at the different patterns. I must say that every picture of this set doe NOT do it justice! They are absolutely gorgeous. Everyone who has seen them tells me how beautiful they are. The other plus for me are the glasses. I have more cups & mugs then I know what to do with. And again, the pictures of the glasses are not as striking as the glasses themselves. I also ordered the salt and pepper shaker and they turned out to be so much larger then I expected. I can't say enough about this set. It's worth every penny and more!

"Better than I expected", My father and I purchased sets of the Shadow Iris Livingware for my mother's birthday. Although the pictures of the set looked pretty, you never know until the package is opened. The sets arrived earlier than expected just in time for her birthday which was a pleasant surprise. When mom opened the package, the design was really pretty, the pictures did not even do the design justice. This is a beautiful casual set of dinnerware. One of the glasses was broken, but the company very quickly sent out a replacement.
I was really pleased with the Corelle Shadow Iris set, and I would tell others to purchase them.

"Impressed!!", I purchased this set in 1986 when I was 17 years old for my hope chest. I moved away from my parents shortly after. I still use this same set today. They still look great! I have purchased other Corell dishes with a kind of fluted edges and they seem more prone to scratches. I highly recomend this product!

"It wouldn't break if they'd pack it properly", I ordered a set of these dishes for a gift. I haven't opened the dishes, but I wouldn't be surprised if they're broken. They put the box of dishes in a huge box with a bunch of air bags on top. If you're going to use a huge box, then put the padding all the way around. Plus I had 3 things arrive today in 3 separate packages. They all would have easily fit in the one box.

"Beautiful design and excellent service!", There is an offer going on of 25$ off on purcahse of 125$ or more on amazon. I ordered 4 corelle sets with 100$ cost. The first delivery was received damaged and returned to amazon, but next delivery I recieved was perfect!! All the designs are nice and thanks to amazon for having such a wonrderful collection! You get lot of variety on thesite unlike local stores! I also got 7 piece Bake and Serve set matching with my dinnerware!!
Overall I am very happy with corelle and amazon!!

"Broken 2 times out of 3", I ordered 2 sets of these dishes. 1 arrived fine and we obsolutely love them. #2 arrived broken, Amazon replaced it ASAP. However they replaced it with another set that came broken. Now they don't know if they can replace it a third time because it's a "widespread" problem. Dissapointing because I do love the set I have. Looking around at reviews of the other corelle pieces I wanted, a lot of them are coming broken to.
