"Beautiful set"
I have had Corelle as my "everyday" dinnerware for the 32 years I have been married. Styles change, and I have updated a couple of times. This is the prettiest pattern yet, I feel.
It's lightweight, so you don't have to lift heavy plates out of the dishwasher.
Corelle is wonderful, it' microwaveable, and never fades.
I wanted the luncheon plates, but they were about $3.50 each (which is still inexpensive!), but bought the exact same tan base color ones that are plain for about $2 at the outlet store. (All the "Mills" outlets have them). The luncheon size is great for snacks and small meals, so it's really a great thing to have in addition to the standard set. We definately use them the most. Walmart has a good selection of Corelle, if you don't want to wait for delivery.
I have reached the age where I like comfort and convenience more than having the latest thing from the upscale stores like Pottery Barn. A lot of people turn their noses up at Corelle, but it's pretty and practical!! I give it 5 stars.

"Wonderful set!"
This is very lovely set! Especially the bowls!! They come with a nice delicate row of leaves design outside the bowls which you normally don't found in other corelle sets. Also the plates are not shallow as compared to other sets. I am still looking for matching platter and large serving bowl!! Unforunately Amazon doesn't carry them!! Also try the bake-serve set available on amazon which matches this one. You can't get same set elsewhere easily.

"Corelle Dinner is good"
We purchased this set of Corelle to replace a set that was many years in use. This is very excellent dinnerware. Resistant to chips, cleans fine in the dishwasher. We are pleased with the design we picked and the service and fast delivery.

"Broken Dreams"
Do not even bother ordering this item. Amazon has no idea how to pack dishes for shipping. Two shipments arrived as perfect undamaged boxes full of broken dishes. I did not even bother to open them.

"Buyer Beware"
While Corelle's new dishware designs are fabulous, beware the reality of Corelle dish breakage AND this company's poor customer service response. I have young children and pets in our home; thus I thought Corelle would be a wise choice because of their supposed anti-chip/anti-crack reputation. In fact on three separate instances of Corelle bowls being dropped on the kitchen floor, they bounced then shattered into very, very sharp shards with razor-like edges--much sharper than broken stoneware and china I've seen. Perhaps most disappointing is that my e-mail communication with Corelle's customer service has been completely ignored. I've written twice, verified their receipt of my correspondence--and thus far, they've not responded. Seriously think twice about owning Corelle--it's not a product I'd recommend around children, or household pets.
