"Excellent Quality and Price" My wife had one of these dishes earlier from Corelle, but lost it to a friend during the holiday season. I much prefer these to regular plates, as the raised sides are perfect for keeping liquid foods such as pasta or soups from sliding around. You also have the regular Corelle chip resistant and break resistant quality here. The only thing I'll add is that your local Wal-mart may carry these plates as well, so look around. We'll be getting a couple more of these for our house since they stack so well in the cupboard. "Great vaule" I love the pasta set, this completed my set. The size of these pasta bowls is perfect. The serving bowl was a bonus. I would order from this seller again!! "Dont limit yourself!" These pasta bowls are terrific and have replaced plates for our daily dinners. We use them pretty exclusively for just about every kind of food. The 'shallow' aspect allows them to function perfectly as plates. It has even encouraged me to create and enjoy what we call "bowl food" at our house. Put in a spring salad, drizzle dressing, top with fish (we don't eat meat, foul or other trafe), add veggies and enjoy the temperature differences while the food, juices and flavors all blend into a variety of tastes! "Great deal!" We needed a set of wide general purpose bowls and bought these since we had other Corelle products. These bowls are wide but not very deep. They were a little shallower than I imagined, but they function well for pasta and soupy/gooey types of meals. I have been very happy with them. This is a great price too! "Attractive and versatile" I have had a set of these pasta bowls for many years. I added this set so that I could serve more than four people. The serving bowl was an added incentive. These bowls are useful for pasta, stew, salads and also as serving pieces. I like the large white bowl which blends with any color or style of china and goes from microwave to table to dishwasher with ease. This was a good addition to my tableware.

What our customer's say! "Love 'em!", They're large enough to hold a nice-sized serving of pasta or rice with toppings. Best of all, they fit nicely in my dish washer (something that could NOT be said of my previous large dinner bowls. "Corelle Livingware Winter White 5- piece pasta set", I purchased this set recently. I find I use the pieces both as a set and often individually. They make a nice compliment to the Corelle pieces I already own. The fact that I can use them in the microwave and in the dishwasher is a real added plus. Because they are white, any color scheme you add i.e. candles, flowers only compliment the setting. "nice but not great", these feel nice but the shape/style is not exactly my favorite. they're a bit too glass-white for me so that they look/feel like something that would be used in a hospital diner. they do feel strong and unlikely to chip/break. the big bowl is too big to be used for anything but a serving bowl. "Love it!", I love this set. The pasta plates are great. They also can double for dinner plates which is nice. I love the fact that they aren't deep but can hold alot. I also liked that I got it in a timely manner. "Wow! Corelle Does it Again!", Last year I purchased a patterned set of Corelle dinnerware and I've been very pleased. However, the patterned set did not come with any kind of large soup, snack or pasta bowls, which I frequently enjoy. When I saw this 5-piece Winter White Corelle Pasta set, I was sorely tempted to order it but wasn't sure if it would match well with my other Corelle patten or even if it would be the proper sized accessory set. I ordered it last week, expecting it NOT to arrive for 4-6 weeks, since that's what [...] indicated on the item description. Within 4 days I received my set and all I can say is...Wow! The plain Winter White set matches the white background of my patterned set perfectly and the size of the bowls is remarkable. First of all, it comes with a large 2 quart white serving bowl which is perfect for popcorn, pasta, veggies or even a pot roast w/veggies. In particular I was very impressed with the 20 oz bowls because that is what I really wanted. The 20 oz bowls are nice and wide which means they accommodate a healthy soup serving, a generous amount of single serve pasta, oatmeal, medium-side dishes of veggies. I just used mine to have myself a generous sized lunch of braised cabbage and noodles. Since they are sturdy but lightweight, they are easy in my hands. I've had years of arthritis and carpel tunnel syndrome and have been editing and replacing my heavyweight dishes and bowls with the Corelle. I was almost tempted to get the snack set or the three piece set and I'm so glad that I made the right decision with this pasta set. It is EXACTLY the size I was looking for. It's versatile, it's simple and pretty and it's easy to care for. It comes packed in a "fun pack" box. Plus it was a bargain at less than $[...]! All the other Corelle snacks sets offered by [...] are more expensive, don't have as many pieces or they're not as versatile. I love, love, love my new Corelle pasta set. Hurry and order yours; you won't be disappointed. 
Read this reviews before You buy... "Functional and Durable", I like this item because it goes with any set of daily dishes and serving pieces. I have a set of the new corelle square dishes and this goes so well. "Good value", Arrived nicely packaged. Works well for a nice family pasta dinner, would recommend something a little more fancy for company. |
