"I Got Blank TDK CD-R!"
Have you been using blank TDK tapes for decades? Continue to use blank TDK on your computer or CD recorder deck. Some expensive decks use these data discs but you can also get TDK MUSIC CD-R at Amazon.com. You can also (as I have) get TDK blank CD-RW with the same degree of satisfaction.

"Better than acceptable."
I used TDK's CD-Rs a lot before the wide-spreaded of DVD-RW. TDK provides good quality of product, though always a little bit more expensive. This set of product is not in exception. After receiving this item, I felt free when using it, even though it is the era of DVD. If I run out of my CD-R and need to purchase more, I will definitely reconsider this item and order it if still availbe.

"playable"
plays in any cd player made very good. can write on with a marker pen

"The worst CD-R experience EVER!"
I recently purchased a 100 pack of these TDK 80min CD-Rs. I burned about 20 discs (burned at a slow 4x speed) only to find out that my time, effort, and money was completely wasted. Nearly every CD had major playback errors. At first I thought it may be the CD player, but after trying the discs in other players, I quickly realized it is not the player. Then I thought maybe there's something wrong with the burner. Nope, because I then burned music to several Verbatim CD-Rs with no playback problems. The problem was, in fact, the CD-Rs. Couldn't believe it, because I always though TDK was a trusted brand, but in this case I got a really bad batch of CD-Rs.

One other note, all of the errors during playback seemed to occur towards the end of the discs (after the 40 minute mark). I thought that was strange too. It seems that there may be something wrong with the dye towards the outer part of the discs??? Whatever the problem, I'll never buy this brand of CD-Rs again.

"Disappointing"
I recently purchased this item and burned a CD using iTunes on my Mac. I then took the CD and tried to play it on my stereo. It was nothing but scratchy garbage. So I burned a second CD and repeated the above. The second CD worked. Wow, I've never had this happen. This was with the 100 pack.
I read other users feedback and they seem to have had the same problem with more than one disc in a 100 pack. TDK: What's up with your Quality Control/Assurance? I wonder how many usable CDs I'll get in this pack and what my actual final cost will be.

What our customer's say!

"Never had so many issues burning cd's", I hadn't had a bad CD in years, probably 5-7 years. Bought a 50 pack of these TDK 52X CDR and out of the first 7 I used, I had 4 bad ones. I am astounded a brand name like TDK could have this poor of quality control. I had just finished up a 50 pack of Sony's and not one of them had an issue. And before that I think I was using some no name brand and I don't belive I had any go bad during writing on those either. I wonder how many bad one's I will get out the the 50 spindle. -Bill

"TDK 52X CDR 80 Minute", Regarding music recorded using the same parameters, these will play on machines where some other brands will not - go figure. Five stars.

"The top was broken", The top was broken but the price was so good that I think it was worth it.

"Did not work out so well.....", I took my chances with these, even after reading reviews. I experienced the same problems noted by some other purchasers. I recorded songs on one disk and during playback the audio skipped. I didn't want to deal with trying to determine whether it was just the one disk. I would not recommend.

"GOOD PRODUCT, GOOD SERVICE", I have used TDK products before and found them to be very good, so I was anxious to see how these performed. I am a writer and author, so I burn a lot of CD's and I am very price-performance oriented. I found these CD's to be very good, however I was not able to use the first two CD's off the top of the stack. I could not burn them successfully, but other than that, all others have performed very well. I really appreciated the Amazon deal of free shipping, which had a major impact on my decision. The savings from this made this a best buy for me. Keep up the good work, Amazon. The delivery service was prompt and efficient.

"Trash", This is the worst set of CD-Rs I have ever had. I just got a 100pk from OfficeMax for $15. I was happy I got it for cheap. So far I've burned 6 discs, four of which had an error. OfficeMax usually has 100pk on sale for $15, and last time I bought a set the offer was on Magnavox CD-Rs and they were perfect besides the fact that the writing on the disc label covered the whole thing. I remember I had a set of TDKs a while ago and I never had one problem. I know I will not be buying TDK again. I also realized Nero burned the Magnavox discs at 24x. The TDK discs allowed a max speed of 16x.

"cd i ordered", i bought blank CD from amazon and when i got the boc the CD had broken open and were all over the box becus e to not package it properly. you just put it in the box wqith any packing around it. i have ordered blank CD from other places on amazon before and never had this problem. they packaged it preoperly. if it is saying it is coming directly from amazon i will not buy it. i will only buy if it is coming from another seller. i was very disappointed when i received the order.

"Made in Malaysia CD-R's", Since they only now have CD-R's in the 100 packs from Moser Baer of India (Dye # 6) and Daxon of Malaysia (Dye # 7). I chose Daxon over Moser Baer of India because they can only read in some of my CD players.

"all right by me !!!", TDK makes a very reliable blank CD-R that can handle up to 80 minutes of music or 700 megabytes of data. These blank CD-Rs can record data at very high speeds. The data I record onto these CD-Rs has now lasted for years. I have used these as data discs and discs to record various types of audio files including MP3s. I almost never get a coaster.

The CD-R discs are compact and easy to store. While the discs are still blank, store them in the circular case on the spindle that they came in. After your burn data or music onto them, I would recommend storing them in slim jewel cases instead of paper sleeves. It's just better protection for your CD-Rs that have anything stored on them.

Two warnings:
1) Don't write on the CD-R itself with a Sharpie ink pen. The ink seeps through slowly but surely and this could easily damage your data, music or whatever is stored on the disc. If you label the disc, label it using a post-it note.

2) Don't store these discs, burnt or blank, in a hot place. CD-Rs hate the heat! Heat can cause damage to your discs so keep them in a relatively cool place. The cooler the storage place, the better.

When burning the disc, don't be surprised if you see the data being recorded at speeds of less than 52x. This may be a quirk; I am not sure. However, it only means a minute or two of extra time to burn the disc--it's well worth it and I wouldn't aggravate myself too much over this.

Overall, TDK blank CD-R discs store data reliably over time and I believe that an extra minute to burn the data onto the blank disc is well worth it in the event that it doesn't actually burn at the very highest speed advertised.

"quality I need", Price I need, Quality I need. I used to buy store brands, but they have recently started not reading. They're changing colors and even though they've been kept in a dark, folder, no scratches, many can no longer be read. I purchased these (store brands) locally and am in the process of trying to save them.
