"Raclette, anyone?", If you know about Switzerland's Raclette dish, this tiny pan may be the best and most-long-lived large raclette pan in the world (large compared to other raclette pans that is).

Besides it's just about the right size for a large Toast Hawaii :).

"Great Little Skillet", As with my other Lodge products I was very satisfied with the quality of the skillet. And it works great for sandwiches and french toast. I even bought one for my son and son-in-law for Father's day and they were excited to get them.

I recommend this for anyone who ever grills sandwiches, fries eggs or french toast.

"It's Tiny!", This piece is literally only big enough for a slice of bread. It's a sandwich maker, or maybe tiny square omelets. I thought it would be bigger... Didn't pay attention to the Size I guess...

"Lodge Square Cast Iron Skillet", This little skillet is the best investment I have made in years. It is just large enough for two people. Since my husband and I are retired it is the perfect skillet for corn bread for two or for a large "biscuit" that would be equal to about four regular sized biscuits. I have used cast iron skillets all my life and have many sizes but this one gets used more than any skillet in my kitchen. I would highly recommend this product.

"Regretable, inconsequential micro skillet", Lodge makes a slew of USA made cast iron products, most of which are quite useful additions to any kitchen, and a very few of which are simply wastes of resources, time and attention. Regretably, this little 5" square skillet falls into the later camp. It's "oh-so-cute", and yet, damned near useless, save for cooking individual eggs or heating a sandwich made from boring, bland SQUARE bread like Wonderbread. Actually, even Wonderbread grilled cheese sandwiches are better made with some other Lodge devices that serve multiple duties, such as any cast iron frying pan over 8" diameter. That leaves this little 5 inch square as being square and basically useless, which it is. Avoid wasting even a dollar on this. The "wonder" in this pan is that it sells at all. I give it 2 stars, rather than one, only because it's made well and made here.

"Lodge square skillet", This square skillet is ideal for my intended use: frying two eggs. I use it three or four times a week.

"Great for lots of things!!!!", I bought this skillet for a spoon rest, and it works great for that, but it also works great as others have stated for cooking eggs or toast. My girlfriend uses it all the time for cooking hotdogs as well. They fit perfectly and you can roll them back and forth. Awesome product and well worth the 10 bucks.

"Wonder-ful Skillet!", I added this to my growing collection of cast iron cookware! I use this all the time for making sandwiches or eggs! It is lightweight because it is so small and cooks everything beautifully! (Cast iron anything cooks great!) It cleans easily too. I keep it out on my stove because I use it so much! I highly recommend this wonderful little skillet!

"Wonder-ful", I had been wondering why no one had made something like this before and then the folks from Lodge did...It is perfect for making cheese sandwiches or really, any type of sandwich, as the bread fits in it perfectly...But what I wanted it for was, I make a mean sausage ,egg and cheese sandwich and was always flustered cause I could not get all of the egg on the bread without some hanging out all over....Well this little beauty changed all that for me cause when I make the eggs now in this pan, they fit the bread perfectly...I would recommend this pan to any one who does sandwiches or the like...
