"Excellent Cases" Have to disagree with the reviewer above. I have a large VHS library that I am converting to DVD and these cases are by far the best value. I have never had a problem with the DVD's "popping off" the holder when I open the case. The cases are stong and sturdy, and the five different colors help me organize my collection. One thing the product description does not mention is that each case also has a clear plastic sleve on the outside so you can insert your own cover. If you choose not to, however, it's no problem because the cases are translucent enough to see through. If, like me, you are converting lots of tapes to DVD, then I would recommend ordering these cases direct from Memorex in bulk. It's much cheaper than Amazon, and the shipping costs are the same no matter how many you order. Sure the colors are nice but the first priority in any case should be having an effective hub to keep the discs in place, 3/4th's of the time discs held in these cases pop off the hub when I open the case. Avoid at all costs.

What our customer's say! "Cool Cases", Colorful, slim, holds discs securely...maybe to securely. The only real potential drawback of these cases are the occasional difficulty of getting the disc back out. Other than that they are a nice change from basic black or clear. "What's The Rub On The Hub??? :-)", A reviewer below was not happy about how lightly the DVD Cases hold the DVD's. Memorex actually has an answer to that comment on their website. I am going to post it here... It's worth reading! ----------------------------------------------------------------------- CD & DVD Storage: What's the best way to store DVDs? DVDs require a special storage solution to protect against data loss. Memorex offers the most ideal solutions for the proper storage of DVD media. Both CD and DVD discs have a circular center hub - the axis on which the disc spins when inserted into a drive. But DVD discs are made differently from CDs; while CDs are made from one layer of plastic, DVDs are made from two tiny layers of plastic that, together, match the standard thickness of a CD. Because the two layers of a DVD disc are not bonded all the way to the center and are tinier by themselves, the DVD hub is weaker and more fragile than a CD's. A DVD disc can actually sustain damage if stored in a traditional CD jewel case because these cases hold a DVD's center too firmly. For archival discs, store at 18°C (65°F) at 35% humidity. "Too Big", I thought I was ordering the square protectors for CDs. Instead they are rectangle and waste plastic. Won't order them again on line. "Love the colors ", These are the motherlode. Memorex has stuck with the original design "spoke hub" on this style case and I can't praise them enough. The clear cover and color case makes the presentation of the movie almost as exciting as the movie itself (ok... maybe I exaggerate). "Save Space & Make some cash on the Side :)", I love this product and can't get enough of them. Where I could only fit 20 DVDs I now have 40 thanks to Memorex! Now I replace all my old black ugly DVD cases with color coordination and sell my old ones for $ 2.00 @. Now how cool is that? And the Clear ones are great for setting appart my animations from reg. movies!
