"BEST COOK WARE" I read the reviews and one of them stated how awful magnalites are. I have been cooking for over 43 yrs and it is not in the pots. I have just about all of the magnalites and that is all I will use. I have been given the expensive sets which costed over 1,200.00 20 yrs ago and they are no better than my magnalites. If I did not know how to cook a set of 100.000.00 pots couldn't help. "Made in China" The originals were made in USA - I almost bought a new set intil I realized these are not the same materials or sizes. Peter Pike, President of American Culinary Corp., states he purchased the Magnalite and Wagner brands and original molds, and is the only source for parts that fit the original Magnalite pans. We are anxiously waiting for manufactured pans and parts to become readily available once again. There apparently exists a dispute between American Culinary and World Kitchen (formerly Corningware) regarding the use of the Magnalite brand name. World Kitchen has been manufacturing some cast aluminum pans in China under the brand name of Magnalite ( which look like the original Magnalite but are of different materials and sizes). These are currently available at many WalMart, Sam's Club and Corning factory outlet stores at discount prices. Also available directly from World Kitchen at full price. Magnalite parts from World Kitchen do NOT fit the original Magnalite made in the USA. "Nice to Use" I brought this set for my new apartment, It is very nice to use, and meet all my needs. "The Best Product!" My experience with Magnalite pots and pans started with my mother. My mother has been using the same 8 piece classic set for over 30 years and they are still the best pots. I recently purchased my own set and could not have asked for a better product. The pots are easy to use and easy to clean. The Pots hold the heat evenly for a all-over even cooking. What a great product! "It was a gift, so . . ." I ordered this item for a Christmas gift, but being familiar with Magnalite and its quality, I'm sure it will be fine.

What our customer's say! "Magnalite", I was very pleased with this product. It was delivered very quickly and in great shape. "My set is almost complete. I need the roasting pan!", I have used my magnalite cook ware for 33 years. I am so pleased to get an additional set at a great price. The new set has deeper pots, and I like this because they stack well into my older set. My mother has the complete set with the roaster. She got it with S&H Green Stamps back in 1960's. They are her favorite to use for daily and holiday cooking. Magnalite is a family favorite. My older sister has a set too! "Strong but dirty", This set is strong and sturdy, but stains and changes color after your first use. "finally", Finally i have found the magnalite pots i have been searching all over for them they are wonderful "You get what you pay for", A set of cookware for less than $500 is going to be a mistake. Like this stuff. People love these things, but I'm wondering if it's because they've not cooked with high-quality cookware. A good saute pan will cost almost $200. How in the world do you get an entire set for less without it being nothing but cheap metal that causes boilovers and has poor heat control and conduction? This was the worst cookware I ever used in my life. Fortunately I didn't spend my own money on it. It was given to me against my wishes, and I was cursed with using it until I could afford better. After throwing the stuff in the dumpster, I never looked back. 
Read this reviews before You buy... "I LOVE IT!", All my adult life I've wanted a cookware set like this, now all the kids are grown and I find this great set and NO kids at home to mess them up! I was lucky enough to get this for the deal of the day at $29.00 and no s&h charges either, I still don't believe it. I haven't had to season it as it is pre-seasoned and if the time comes I know how but every thing I've cooked in it as come out perfect. No sticking, easy clean up and yes, I've used diluted soap and water, no problems. I ran a little bit of oil around the skillet and the steak was fantastic, a very little bit of water and the vegetables were great. This is the perfect set for me, I'm donating my old pots and pans, all but my cast iron skillet, never know when the kids might show up and want fried chicken. I know finding it at the price I did was pure luck for me but even a higher price it will be well worth it, I promise. Good cooking to all! Kat "Great price / value.", This is a great price for what you receive. My family has been replacing all of our lost cookware and my mother recently purchased this same item from a retail store for slightly over $100.00. "not dishwasher safe", Cookware looks wonderful but not recommended for dishwasher and also alot of seasoning of cookware must be done. Good looking but just not an ease of product which is sad. Also got a damaged piece but that is manufacturers fault not Amazon's so no hard feelings there. Good luck to others. "If you know what you want", If one has experience with excellent aluminum cookware Magnalite is the top of the line, and this versatile package is a fantastic bargain.
