"Almost Perfect Bacon Rack"
I purchased four of these bacon racks, and I have only one complaint. These new racks are not as sturdy as the one I had for about fifteen years before it bit the dust. Be sure to clean very good each time it is used or the bacon will stick to the old residue. Cleaning does take some effort after making perfect bacon. This is truly a winner.

"Easy crisp bacon"
Works great and makes nice crispy bacon. Easy to clean and store. I would suggest putting paper towels under and over the bacon though. This helps collect the extra fat and stop the splatter.

"Our is now practically an antique, but we still love it"
We bought this microwave bacon cooker SO long ago! 20 years? Probably before amazon.com even existed. But we still use it, maybe 3-4 times a month, and it still does an excellent job of cooking bacon and draining a lot of the grease off.

We put a paper towel down first, then a layer of bacon, then another paper towel, and another layer of bacon topped with another paper towel if we're feeding a crowd. It's easy to clean, in the dishwasher or by hand. The surface has discolored a bit, but we have no complaints.

It's fun to know this is still available, apparently unchanged. It's one of those "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" products. Don't hesitate to buy one! It does the job and does it well.

"Makes a BIG Mess"
The bacon tray works but if you have long bacon strips you have to cut it and it's hard to get the timing down, it's always different. The tray is a pain to clean, bacon sticks to it. Your better off using a paper plate and paper towel or a microwaveable plate.
