"For display too", Finally, elegant meets practical. When this is not in the oven or refrigerator, it sits on the bar side of the kitchen island with something in it. Citrus, seasonal, etc., I just did not want to put this in a cabinet. Pyrex reached a new higher level.

I suspect it could survive a drop of 2-3 feet alright, but be careful as it is glass after all.

When I ordered this in a small shipment of pyrex goods, I recieved the wrong item by mistake. I contacted amazon, and within a few hours recieved an email apologizing and stating that they would immediately ship a replacement (and that I had 30 days to return the incorrect item using a postpaid shipping slip I can print out off of amazon). The bowl arrived the next day. All it all it was less than 24 hours between the time my email was read and I recieved the bowl. Kudos to amazons support.
