"as good as All-Clad"
I bought this skillet to sear salmon, before puttting it into a 425-degree oven. I am not sure if it is a good thing to put non-stick into a hot oven, so I bought this pan. It worked like a charm. It sears perfectly, and after the oven for 7 minutes, it was a mess. but it cleaned up shiny as new following the directions to fill with water, and clean with Bon Ami or a similar product. It was a brown mess but now looks like new. The important thing is to read the instructions that come with the pan. I think I'll order the other sizes since this one worked so well. I think it works as well as the All Clad pans I have but at a fraction of the price.

"great cookware"
This cookware is fantastic. It has increbile feel, good weight, and it performs very nicely. It is well constructed and it will you much less than other multi-clad cookware.

"disappointed"
You can't brown anything in this skillet. Everything sticks. The helper handle makes it too long to fit in the sink so you can scrub the stuck stuff.

"Love our new pans!"
We just purchased the set and this one by itself. The set did not have this particular pan included and I really wanted a larger pan. I was going to get a non-stick set but the more I researched cookware the more I thought that I would try out the Cuisinart Multiclad Pro series. I was so happy with the set that I started purchasing the rest of the pans that I needed of the same type. Great even cooking, and the pans heat up quickly and evenly. Follow the directions on using this type of pan and you can't go wrong. They are very strong because of the stainless steel and yet carry a good even heat due to the aluminum inside all the way through the pan! The handles also stay very cool, my wife and I love them!

"Read the manual — food does not stick"
Yes, you are using it wrong if food sticks to it. If you read the Cuisinart instructions included with the pan, it tells you to heat the pan before adding food to it, and then it won't stick. Try it, it works. Multiclad is pricey, but it works and will last a lifetime if cared for.

What our customer's say!

"Couldn't Be Happier !!", This product is exactly what we have been searching for. Heavy Duty, Easy to clean,Comfortable Handles and Tight fitting lids. As with all Stainless Steel you must adjust you cooking method to a lower heat setting. As long as you keep that in mind you will love this cookware. As a matter of fact we loved it so much that we purchased every single piece of Multiclad Pro Stainless that Cuisinart makes. WE JUST LOVE IT!!

"Still the best price point!", Pan works great when finishing off fritatas in the over, the main reason why we bought it. It's just the right size for the two of us... As usual, great workmanship.

"unhappy", This pan is not flat on the bottom and thus will spin on the stove and therefore can be dangerous if the handle is hit by accident. This is very true if one has a ceramic glass cooktop stove. It also is therefore a problem when putting in cooking oil in that the oil will pool to one side. It is not a good product!

"Food sticks......", Try what I will, food sticks to this pan. Frankly, I wish I hadn't bought it.

"Cuisinart cookware", I have an entire set of cuisinart pans and pots. I am very pleased with the quality and the way they cook. This is large enough to make large quanitities of food. A great investment!

Read this reviews before You buy...

"Awesome!", I had been using non-stick pans from Martha Stewart's K-mart line that were 10 years old, they lasted a long time. When I needed to replace them I decided to research the materials available; the Multi-Clad with the tri-plad stainless steel, aluminum, stainless steel material was the best choice for me. I love to cook. The pan is amazing! The aluminum heats so quickly and evenly. This pan can be moved from stove top to oven, even the broiler! (Up to 500 degrees.) If you can't afford the expensive All-Clad, which I read over and over to be the best on the market, this is a very nice alternative for the price. I bought the 12 piece set as well as some of the open stock pans, they're all amazing.

"Big with a FLAT bottom", Cooks wonderfully! Foods brown uniformly (instead of brown towards the center and 'raw' nearer the edge). And the bottom is truly FLAT, which means liquids do not pool. Consequently, foods cook uniformly and require less re-arranging. Finally we love the handles. The long one stays cool and the short one opposite makes it easy to pour out liquids. Wonderful product!

"I love it!", Yeah, Multi-clad cookware is expensive, but really worth it! Everything I cook in this pan cooks better and evenly, a little olive oil keeps food from sticking, and a gentle soak and wipe restores its mirror brighness. I wish I had known about multi-clad cookware years ago!

"Skillet", I have always liked Cuisinart products and this one is no exception. It is a heavy stainless and heats evenly. It is great for omelets or other egg dishes. I haven't had any problems with sticking if the pan is sprayed first with Pam or a similar product.

"This is a Great Skillet!", After reading about the possible health risks associated with Teflon, we carefully went shopping for stainless steel. While I agree that a lid would have been lovely, I must say this is a great pan - even heat disbursement with a good sturdy feel to it. We have used it for everything - grilled sandwiches, breakfast meats, searing, sauteing and just last night made a huge batch of homemade chili. Clean up is a snap! We love this pan! Just purchased one for my daughter.
