"Cook Hard and Cook Right!!!"
Techs: Calphalon describe process of coating:
"An advanced release polymer is infused in the skillet's surface, unlike nonstick coatings that sit on top of the metal, to minimize sticking and make cleanup easy."

Pros:
Calphalon never peels off after one year hard usage.
It's quite heavy and robust.
Unlike teflon-coated pans which cause cancer, Calphalon are teflon-free and safe to use with metal utensils.

Cons:
Calphalon apparently are not really non-stick, but rather, "stick resistant".
Perfect for 1 person only. If you have more than 1 in your family get a bigger one.

conclusion: I am writing this review about one year later from when I brought this pan on Jan, 2007, which means it has been tested for 1 year. It does its job and fulfill its purpose. Overall, it's a five star pan.


"Wok Review"
Bought for my niece for part of a wedding present. I didn't measure, so it was a little smaller than I expected, but she loved it!

"Too small"
It is non-stick and so small it makes one serving of a veggie filled stir-fry. I was so shocked when I got it I had to show how dumb of a pan it was to all the people on the elevator at my apartment LOL. So if it say 9 1/2 inches don't buy it.

i love this pan. it is small but good quality. after i received this i ordered for 2 more for my friends. this is my favorite item in my kitchen.

"Good Wok for single person"
I am very happy with this wok (stir fry pan). It is roomy when I cook for one, though large enough to cook for 2 or 3. It cooks well with just an olive oil spray. Based on other reviews, I bought the Joyce Chen J31-0063 Chrome Steel Wire Wok Ring, which hold the wok above the burner just a little bit (turn the small side up). However, the wok is flat enough to use without the ring if you are careful and don't have small children in the kitchen
