Others say...

"Practical, easy, convenient... a hectic life simplified...Priceless"
Many of the reviews of the Keurig Coffee Makers, this model or any of them, claim it makes the "greatest coffee ever." To claim that, one's exposure to great coffee is limited and is probably a bit reaching. This is not to say it doesn't make an impressive cup of coffee in a small compact counter top appliance. As the tag line states it is practical. We recently received this as a wedding gift, it was originally one of those wish list items when you say if I had everything. Honestly, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to make a single cup of coffee with minimal effort.

I know people who love the experience of grinding beans, brewing a pot, and have coffee all day long. For me, a cup in the morning and a cup or two in the evening a few times a week is enough for me. So it is practical in the sense I get exactly what I need. And in a world where everything is increasing in cost, the $5.00 coffee shop coffee days are over. This is at home, no more lines, and at an average cost of $0.34 per cup, a fraction of the cost, and for me all the flavor.

As for being easy, you fill the water, pop in a k-cup, and push a button, 60 seconds later, one hot cup of great tasting coffee. When done, you toss the k-cup and turn off.

Lets look at being convenient, for speed I had always done the Folgers instant coffee singles, which are easier than a pot of coffee, but these machines are far more convenient. One cup, no dipping, to squeezing the bags, no drips all over the counter. Plus with the timer, it is hot when I get up and I just hit start. Always fresh and always ready.

So in the end, it allows me make better use of my mornings and makes my life a little less hectic, and for me, that is priceless.

"Don't buy this if you like your coffee steaming hot"
If you like your coffee steaming hot this is not the coffee maker for you. I am very disappointed in this machine. The user manual says that the water heats to 192 degrees, however when I tested the coffee coming out of the machine it is only 180 degrees. I have to microwave every cup. I called the Keurig tech and he said this is correct, it can lose 12 degrees by the time it gets to the cup.

"GOURMET single cup coffee maker !!!!!!!!!!"
Keurig B60 Special Edition Gourmet Single-Cup Home-Brewing System
I love this system so much that I can't wait to get up in the morning and fix my coffee.......my husband isn't a coffee drinker so it works out so good that I don't have to make an entire pot of coffee when I'll only be drinking one or two cups. When company is here they can see how fantastic this coffee (or tea or hot chocolate) maker is. Even my sister, who is very particular about everything she owns, thought it was great. Especially when she saw that I have "german chocolate cake" flavored coffee.....and you only have to make ONE CUP AT A TIME !!!!!!

"On fourth machine at my office"
The first Keurig machine failed in 2 months (used 15 x per day). The replacement broke again (glue joint failed) in 9 months, but I was able to epoxy. Then the machine stopped metering water at about 13 months. I will purchase another as they do have the K-Cup monopoly, the coffee tastes ok, and it is the cleanest system I know of for an office. Be warned that Keurig designs have pretty features but they are not robust and are likely to fail and you will be re-buying Keurig machines on a regular basis. I have taken a good look at the unit(s) and I feel these failures are simply poor engineering which is somewhat a surprise given the hefty cost. I suspect business/marketing people run the company and they are profit maximizing by sub-contracting design and manufacturing to low cost oversea suppliers.

"A new K-cup addict to the fold..."
My first single cup maker... it's so nice to have a fresh, hot, quality cup of coffee when ever I want it.
My wife and I have become K-Cup "addicts"... now completely spoiled and totally unwilling to ever go back to pot coffee.
If a bit of pump noise may bother you, I suggest upgrading to the B70 with "quiet brew" technology... if it's not a bother, the B60 is the most bang for your buck.

What our customer's say!

"Love it!!!", I love this machine. It is easy, fun, and the coffee is great! Clean-up is a snap. I have tried several of the coffee flavors that came with this brewing system, I love them all so far. I do lean toward the bold flavor as I like strong coffee.

"Beware Weak Coffee!!!!! ", I usually read all the 1 star review before purchase, but I didn't notice any complaining about weak coffee. Well here is a new one addressing that point. If you like strong coffee....DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT. I used my own coffee which is very capable of making rocket fuel and filled the crazy $15 reusable filters all the way to the top of the filter material. All I got was a very, very, very weak 9 oz cup of brown water. I tried this twice with the same results. I also tried one of the k-cup single servings labeled BOLD. Just as bad. I'm back to my pot of coffee....this is no substitute.

"Not impressed but it "looks pretty"", After reading all of these reviews I ran to my local BJ's wholesale and bought my first Keurig......It was defective. It vibrated my mug off of it made horrible noises and even worse made terrible weak coffee. So I took a break. For mothers day my husband bought me the Keurig B60 to replace my existing Senseo. The machine does not viberate like the last nor does it make horrible noises but the coffee is still not very good (I tried the variety pack or at least 8 of them.)
On the other hand my Senseo broke after 1 1/2 I called customer service and without any questions they sent me a replacement Senseo and free return shipping. The coffee tastes 1000 times better also (medium and dark roast mainly the flavored ones not so great).
It is funny because my family and friends all think I hate strong coffee but the Keurig seems weak to me on the smallest cup setting while using the darkest roasts.
I love my coffee but the Senseo pods (used to be $3.85 not $4.10 at walmart) are twice as cheap, have better customer service (from reviews), and ultimately taste better for less then $70 without a coupon which you can find almost anywhere (e-bay, craigslist etc) The keurig does look pretty at least while the Senseo just looks like it belongs...at least in my kitchen.

"Fab Coffee Maker", I bought this K-cup brewer for the office but so far, it's still at home. I decided to buy one after experiencing Keurig at a salon. I thought it was such a great way to enjoy a quick cup of coffee that I began hunting for one. A couple of people mentioned that the machine was noisy but I can tell you this is certainly quieter than my espresso maker. The Keurig B60 is going to get quite the workout at work . . . if it ever makes it to the office!

"best damn 'coffee maker' in the west!", I cannot tell you how many cups of various brews we have already enjoyed, but I have had to reorder twice. Our 7year old granddaughter can make cocoa for herself--it's really hot, so we add milk. She really thinks she's hit the big time!Even my beloved husband had to admit how handy it is. I love the variety of things we can choose from. K-cups for every taste.Friends and family who visit our home often all have special flavors. Fabulous addition to our life!

Read this reviews before You buy...

"coffee", A great investment for single coffe coonsumption. I should have shopped around a little more as I could have saved another 25%.

"Looks and works great", A well made great looking home brewing system that produces a quality final product. You will be pleased if you purchase one of these. Be sure to read the directions prior to use - it requires a priming prior to use , which is a simple procedure.

"Love My Keurig", Hint:I purchased my Keurig at B,B & B using the 20% discount and a $5.00 coupon to get the carousal for the k-cups. I've had this system for about 3 weeks. I absolutely Love this machine! I drink coffee and my son drinks tea.

Pros:
Everybody has it "their way",coffee, tea or cocoa"?

Dark Magic k-cup can be ran through twice using the med and the small cup giving you more bang for the buck and still tastes great!.

It is very stylish and easy to use, just plug it in, prime it and following the directions. Simple.

Take out the removable metal tray and use your travel mug. If you use 2 k-cups to fill it up, be careful when you take it out-It will spill.

You can make just hot water and the middle size is perfect for the cup of noodles.

Cons:

It's noisy for about 30 seconds, but it does not bother me because I know I'm about to get a great cup of coffee!

K-cups can not only be addicting, but expensive, unless you do what many out there are doing, buying bold strong coffee k-cups then running it through twice. There is a pod holder for the Keurig which I plan on buying in the near future and will write a review. I've been reading that the Senseo pods are really good.

Enjoy your Keurig:)
