"Great for large quantities"
This pot is easy to clean and good for large quantities of coffee.
I use is for 2 or less cups and its little to large for that. Still handy to keep around.

"8 Cup Glass Percolator"
This percolator makes a wonderful pot of coffee. It's nice to be able to see the coffee brewing. Remember it only takes 7 minutes to brew a good cup of coffee.

What our customer's say!

"love my coffee pot", It's easy to use and clean and I don't have to worry about heavy metal contamination.

"Overall Nice Little Coffe Pot", My husband grew up with the old Pyrex version, which we loved and inherited but which had pieces lost and broken during a move. What I love about this Modelco pot is the way it looks and how light it is, especially compared to the old Pyrex one. What I do not like is the plastic insert. Ours seems to now lean to one side, likely because heat has affected the stem. However, we haven't had any issues with the plastic lid like another reviewer. Also, compared to the old Pyrex, this version seems much quieter, no doubt because it is plastic on glass not glass/metal on glass. We use the Medelco on a glasstop stove with the trivet and have had no issues outside of the leaning plastic stem. Cleanup is quick and easy (dishwasher), as is making coffee. I would recommend this product (I have French press pots too and prefer this to those) and would buy it again.

"good product, could have been great", I love my coffee pot, I purchased it to make tea. It makes a nice strong brew and I enjoy the vintage look and the fact that I can see the strength of my tea. A word of caution. It comes with a metal ring stuck inside the flap of the box. This is to be used as a trivet whenever brewing on an electric stove. I didn't realize this at first, and brewed my first pot without it. Happily no harm was done, and my pot didn't break as a result of the intense heat.

Now my problems with the pot: The lid is plastic, and because of the heat, it seems to have expanded. It no longer fits snuggly on. So far this hasn't been a huge problem, and I am hoping that it is finished expanding. Also, this morning I emptied the pot into my husband's cup and placed the pot back on the burner...big mistake. Even though the burner was off, the residual heat melted the bottom of my percolator insert. I should have known better. I think had there been some tea left in the pot, there wouldn't have been a problem. All in all, I don't know if I would purchase this pot again. I think I'd rather shop around thrift stores until I find an authentic vintage pyrex percolator with metal insert. "They just don't make things the way they used to!" For now, I'm shopping for a metal insert for this one.

"This product broke within 3 weeks", My wife was making tea and she heard a tick tick noise couple of times and next thing she saw was percolator botton was cracked and tea was pouring.

"glass coffeepot", I liked the size of the glass coffeepot, I only wish in inside parts were glass also, the plastic lid pops off when perculating, creating a problem.
