"Beware of Sudden Crashes!"
I've had this item for about two years, and for a long while I thought it was a great solution to my kitchen storage issues. However, just like one of the other reviewers, one day I must have put one banana too many in the basket, because the chains snapped and everything fell to the counters. I fixed it, like the other reviewer, with pliers, but it happened twice more, and now I am giving up. It's not worth the bruised fruit or toes!

This product is so much better than any I have seen in stores. It is so well made. Very generous size. Also looks great with fruit and a small plant on top. I would purchase even for a gift. Valerie Muehring( Marble Hill MO)

"A nice addition to the kitchen."
I was worried that one reviewer's chains fell apart, but am happy to share that my basket set is just fine. It isn't terribly elegant, but I'm not complaining, given the price. The basket set frees up space on the kitchen counter, and I think reminds me to eat the healthy fruits and veggies I put in there by keeping them at eye level.

"shoddy workmanship."
I bought this set of hanging baskets and was surprised when I went to put a bunch of bananas in it. It fell to the gound. The chains had broken in not one, but two places!

I used my needle nosed pliers to try and fix it, and for a while it was ok. however, this morning it broke again.

Now it's in the trash.

"kitchen hanging basket", Perfect for hanging my onions, potatoes and garlic and in a corner it saves space.

"Good Buy", just as is. get a long hook though to hang, as it's not that long if you hang from ceiling.

"Wonderful product", I have gotten every one in my family one of these. It is wonderful. I hang all my veggys from onion to potatoes and more. There is one thing I woud like to share I have a very large family and have lots of vegs over packing this the chain does not handle. Dont get me wrong this handles a lot of weight. But not as much as I put in it. I mean I put 5 pound potatoes 5 pound onion, peppers, tomatoes, limes, plantans, garlic ect you name It would be better to get two of them but I have no room. If you need the same as I or just want the extra secority and have it more weight werthy. Go to your local hardware store and get heaver chain and srew type clips istead of the key chain type clips you can your self sit in those baskets and the chain and clips will not let loose.

"Good find", Truthfully, not many manufacturers are making these baskets out of copper.
I was happy to find this one.
This is well-made, however, I would wish they had made the parts holding each basket to the chain heavier to take some overloads (make them able to hold more weight in fruit and vegetables than what it is rated).
Otherwise, I am pretty satisfied with the product.

"Works Great", I have no problems with this item. Seems to be good quality. I have been using it for a month now and it handles all the fruit great. Saves counter space.. Love it..
