Others say...

"I use this board for most everything!"
No complaints here--works well, does not slip, catches drips, easy to wash...worth the price in my opinion.

"nice!"
I have many cutting boards but I seem to reach for this one almost everytime. While the board surface is nothing unusual, the non-slip silicone trim makes it worth every penny. No more chasing the cutting board across the counter as you are chopping!

"It does have a good grip!"
Great cutting board. Non-slip on both sides and diswasher save. The surface does get scratched after only a short time, but still works very well.

"Not bad but..."
Just another cutting board but you should know that the color is not white and whatever it really is defined as, it is not identified here.

You should also note that this is a cutting board and not a trivet. It is not heat resistant. If you keep your cutting board out like me, you'll learn this the hard way. It melts. Unfortunately, this piece of safety information escapes the description and it therefore, becomes a nuisance piece of clutter, as oppose to something one can safely keep out and about.

"Yay for OXO"
The OXO family of products continues to impress. The cutting board is simple. It has tiny feet on the bottom and a groove in the top to catch juices. I've had cheap plastic cutting boards that warp in the dish washer - this one does not! It's sturdy, a nice compact size that's large enough for most cutting jobs, easy to clean, ... exactly what you'd expect from OXO.

What our customer's say!

"You get what you pay for", While it's not the greatest cutting board in the world, the Oxo Good Grips does what it's supposed to do and it does it pretty well. The silicone feet hold the board in place well enough, even when the counter is wet, and they make the board easier to lift off the counter to put away.

My only complaint is that the plastic seems a little softer than some other higher quality cutting boards. After a few months of use my board already has a few thin strips of plastic coming out from where I've cut on it repeatedly. Just be aware that these bits of plastic aren't getting mixed in with your food.

"So Close ...", PROS:

The board is just the right size for everyday use and looks great.
To sanitize, I use half a lemon or lime,
dip into some salt and scrub the surface.
Rinse with hot water and pat dry.

CONS:

Here's the bad news.
You cannot see in the stock photo but the board
has four very small pegs on each corner.
These "grips" create a thin space between the board and the counter.
Although the board does not slip, it causes the board to
"bounce back" after each chop because it is not flush with the counter.
I noticed it threw off my chopping "rhythm".
Also, because of this gap - each chop is pretty loud.

* I have uploaded a macro shot of one of the corners.

I don't like to bother with returns so I've made this my back-up cutting
board for when the family comes over to help prep a meal.

"functional yet vulnerable", I'm a big OXO fan already. This cutting board has two usable sides - one is flat, the other has a shallow drip channel around the edges. The "grip" feet keep the cutting board in place when you use it. The only drawback is that the surface retains cut marks rather easily, which makes it vulnerable to quick deterioration. The pros outweigh the cons. I would get another one without question.

"cutting board", I have an oxo knife set and can opener which I have been please with, so decided to try the cutting board. It is a nice size and easy to care for.

"Just the right size and weight", I wanted something smaller and lighter than a regular cutting board. This one is just the right size and weight. I am very please with it.

"Does the job", Nothing special, good or bad. The grips are nice, the groove/liquid catcher is too shallow to be really useful, overall you get what you pay for. This size is not for carving your thanksgiving turkey on, but for everything else it is just peachy. Good, solid, everyday board.

"Quality non-skid cutting board", This is a quality non-skid cutting board that met all my expectations:

It fits into my dishwasher for easy cleanup
It has a groove to prevent spillage onto my countertops
It's non-skid
It's large enough to cut just about anything
The price is very affordable
It doesn't dull my knives
It doesn't harbor bacteria

Overall I am very pleased with this cutting board and would definately buy it again if I needed to.

"Favorite Cutting Board", This and the matching smaller size is my favorite cutting boards, quiet cutting and you can sterilize it in the dishwasher. They do not seem to dull my knives either.

"I love this thing!", This is just the right size to build a sandwich on or to slice a chicken. The gripper feet keep it from moving when you slice and the grooved edge catches the juices.
When done, just stick it in the dishwasher in the plate rack and it comes out clean and sterile and ready to work again. Almost a year before I worried that deep grooves in the plastic might harbor germs.... Now, I'm back for a new one!
This is a real work horse...

"This cutting board is OK", It does what it's supposed to. The rubber edges have little non-slip feet, which is a definite improvement over our last cutting board, which slid around if you weren't careful. We have had this one for a couple of months and have run it thru the dish washer numerous times and it has held up well.

It has a channel around the sides on only 1 side of the board to keep juices from running off onto the counter top. This comes in handy when cutting a juicy piece of meat or a melon, etc.

I don't know if this is a good deal from a price perspective, but I think it is a step up from a plain square plastic cutting board.
