"OXO brush"
Not as nice as the one with permanent head. Seller should consider new shipper. The package was left out in the road.

"Not universal in use - but has some pluses"
overall it works great to get into the nooks of all sorts of cookware. The fact that it has different detachable brush/sponge options is a big plus. the built-in soap dispenser on the other hand could have used some better testing. I pump and pump and pump and pump and still no soap. I give up.. I just squirt some soap on the bristles.

"Should be called "the non-stop soap dripping dish brush""
This item is well-constructed and works fine as a simple scrub tool, but the self-dispensing function - for which I purchased it- is a dismal flop. It leaks non-stop. I can't even put any soap in it. When there is soap in it, it comes out through the pressure stop on the side of the handle - and not through the end of the brush. I'll keep it anyway for overall utility, but don't buy this if you think it will be an efficiency saver as a self-soaping tool. I've spent more time cleaning up soap messes from the leaks than I could have ever thought possible.

"Best brush ever!"
What more can I say. With a family of six (and frequent visitors), we go through A LOT of dishes. Our brush has lasted over 5 years, with never a problem. Has worked better and lasted longer than brushes we've had in the past that cost twice as much. I finally convinced my wife to let me buy these for gifts for family this year - they're that good!

"Leaks."
The one I purchased leaks from the black stopper. Unless I leave it at a particular angle, I come back to detergent all over my counter.

What our customer's say!

"It's Okay, but ...", This brush is a little hard to use ... I mean, it's okay ... but when you push the button that is suppose to dispense dish soap very little soap if at all squirts out or too much. But, after a little use, it functions okay but certainly no cigar!

"It leaks", Despite reading the other reviews that mentioned leaking, I bought this anyway because it's perfect for after-meal clean-up. I even put in the concentrated dish detergent figuring maybe the thicker stuff wouldn't be so prone to leaking. Well, guess what. It does. I still use is as a plain dish brush, but a grocery store variety would have been cheaper. I really, really wish it didn't leak. The concept is great. The execution needs improvement.

"could be improved", I got some solid use out of this--enough to get me to buy replacement heads for it. But soon after I did the small plastic piece that holds the brush head on snapped off. So now I'm ordering another so I can use the replacement heads that I had stockpiled. (The bristles could be a bit stiffer on those heads, but this seems to be a problem with just about every dish brush I've ever had.) I did not have any problems with leaks by the way.

"Leaks Constantly!", If you're reading all the reviews for this item then clearly you already know that it leaks. It's just such a mess that I had to add another 'leaky' review myself!

The good news, and why it got 2 stars from me instead of 1, is that the brush is actually quite nice. It doesn't scratch my non-stick pots but it does do the cleaning job well. With that said however, the amount of soap that I've had to clean off the counter is ridiculous! There is no angle that makes it stop. Face up and the loading seal leaks; face down and the brush's dispenser leaks. NO WIN!!!

There is nothing more irritating that having to clean the counter before I clean the cookware! ..and let's not even talk about the waste of soap! The aggravation FAR outweighs the benefits!

"TOTAL COST FOR SOAP ???? +++++", This is the worst product from OXO & I must have over 70 products from oco this rates a 1. Soap leaks ALL THE TIME
Total waste & I LOVE OXO PRODUCTS! Oh Well No company or anyone is perfect!

"Idea: A+ Performance: B+", I had the old design of this brush for years, until the head became TOO worn, when I decided to replace it. The old design used a leaver to squirt the soap out whereas this one uses pressure. I had more sucess getting soap to come out with the old design. This one is not bad, and is certailnly better than adding soap to a sink full of water.

A few tips: - Keep it 1/2 to 3/4 full of soap. Less than 1/2 there's not enough pressure, more than 3/4 it overflows out of the handle.
- If the head is full of soap suds or dry, soap won't come out, it has to be clear of obsticles and wet to work properly.
- The head pops off fairly easily inside spaces like a coffee pot, but it slips back on easily too. (being able to change the heads is a nice feature, so this really doesn't bother me)

All in all, it makes washing dishes by hand very simple once you get used to the little quirks. I would recommend this product.

"OXO Dish Brush", The OXO name is well know for it's quality. This dish brush is very easy to use. I also ordered a set of refill brushes.

"Lack of squirt", Works well, except after several months use, it fails to squirt detergent unless reservoir is at least half full.

"Excellent but needs better brush hold!", This does the dishes very nicely. My only 1 star reduction was due to the brush head falling off sometimes when I push a BIT harder on the grip to clean the dishes.

"Great Little Brush!", I run an ice cream shop, where we are constantly washing utensils.

I purchase 8 to ten of these each year, and they are the greatest little brush -- I can wash everything from small utensils to large 3 gallon buckets with it. The kids who work for me love it as it keeps their hands free from the soap. I've never had the cracking problem one other reviewer mentioned, but we typically wear out the brush head long before it has a chance to crack.
