"Great air flow...but pricey & a bit noisy"
I just bought this fan and am not sure if I will keep it. I really wanted a tower fan with a remote & breeze feature, which this has. The remote is a little touchy, you have to be very precise when aiming it, hard to do when it is oscillating. Also the price seems a bit high - but it was one of the only ones that had all of the features that I wanted.

The stand could be sturdier. It does move the air very well and cools you off quickly, but it makes more noise than I thought it would. I have to turn up the tv volume a bit more to hear it clearly - yes I could move the fan but there's an issue with available outlets and power strips.

I'm not sure if the noise will bother me when sleeping, it's more white noise. Think of how the wind sounds when it's blowing off the ocean, pleasant at first but has the potential to be annoying (and that's on the low setting). I may try another fan....especially after seeing some other reviews that said they don't last long.

All in all, it does the job very well and the air flow really does feel nicer than the air flow from a round table fan.....a round fan ony cools one area of your body, the tower fan covers a lot more area and cools you faster - which is a plus! I will give it a try over the weekend to give it a real good test and see if I get used to the noise. I will update this review afterwards.

"decent fan but the remote is strange"
the fan looks classy with the chrome trim and pushes a good amount of air. however, the remote acts so weird. you push the button, and the light on top of the fan lights up to confirm your push, but half the time it doesnt even respond. i have to push teh button sometiems 10 times to get it to register. other than that, a decent overall fan.

"This fans is a good buy to beat the heat"
I just bought this fan and I was impressed as soon as it came out of the box. The fan has a great ability in blowing the air in the room and it is very quiet for the awesome job it does. However there are some problems with the fan and they are that the remote control does not work unless pointed right at the sensor at the fan. Also I don't like how the fan speed setting is the same button and the power button. For example, if you want to change the fan speed from low to high, and you have the fan turning and has a certain setting set, you have to turn off the fan and then turn it on again and loose all of the setting that were turned on. However, overall this fan is great and gets the job done.

"Great so far"
After using it for a few days, I am glad that I got this fan. All in all, it functions as it's suppose to. This fan helps me to stay cool during hot summer days. The only draw back is that the remote only works if you are hold it at a specific angle.

"Great!"
Pro: Blows a lot air, quiet, remote, looks great, has all the timing setting you need.

Cons: the stand is a little weak but won't cause any serious problem, remote is not sensitive enough, need to be held as high as the fan to work.

I turned the ionizer on for a like a week but didn't notice any differences.

Bottom line: it is a great buy (i paid $45 for this at amazon), assuming it will last. I have been using it for more than 1 month without problem so far.

What our customer's say!

"Performs above Expectations", I bought this fan for several reasons. Of course, my main reason was to cool. But for lack of space, it is wonderful. It really performs and makes it quite pleasant in the room. The air smells cleaner. I like the noise, not loud, I find it relaxing as I read. As another reviewer stated, our little dog loves it also. She is asleep in front of it right now. I am considering buying one or two more. Highly recommend.

"Nice fan!", After checking out the reviews here I bought this fan from a local store (which was much cheaper than paying shipping and all)..it's been 2 weeks since I bought it and I use it everyday. It works just fine...super quite. The remote is very helpful. I use it in my living room and the height is just perfect. I definitely recommend it.

"Great Fan!", Got this as a gift for my dad and he loves it. My fiance and I had put it together and had no problems doing it. It's pretty self-explanatory when you look at it so the manual wasn't useful for that. It looks really nice and it works well without much noise. My dad thought it was super expensive (it sort of looks like it would cost about $100). Both my fiance and I wished we had it for ourselves!

"I was never this much satisfied with a purchase", I bought this fan at the local Target store. I paid 59.99 plus tax. This fan actually cools down my bed room without being too noisy. I don't really use the ionizer, so I can't comment on that. With the pedestal, it's about 3ft tall. It's a little shorter than I imagined, but it's perfect with my MALM bed from Ikea. If your bed is higher, I would recommend you to use taller tower fans.

"Good Buy For a Bedroom", I got this for my junior master bedroom and it's working out for me. It's a bit unstable, but it will stand just don't touch it, use the remote! =)

"Honeywell Tower Fan with Ionizer and Remote - Great Fan, Loaded with Features but Expensive", The Honeywell 3-Speed Digital Tower Fan with Ionizer uses up a very small amount of real estate because of it's sleek tower design. The features included with the fan are great. While the price is not easy to swallow, the performance makes it seem justified. Definitely check this out.

Pros:
+ Takes up a small amount of floor space
+ It has surprising air-power, especially on high
+ It has an attractive look with the black body and chrome accents
+ The included ionizer, oscillation and breeze settings give you a lot of options
+ The remote control has a convenient light for night use and all the controls to power and adjust your fan
+ Remote also has a cool resting place on top of the fan

Cons:
- The base isn't as firm as it could be, and the fan will sway if you push it; move it seldom and carefully
- The noise is noticeable when the fan is on high
- Remote has a limited range
- Some functions require multiple clicks with the remote (no big deal)
- I can't help but be nervous when I read about bad tech support or short lived products; mine is still going strong

Last year I bought and had a terrible experience with the Holmes HASF-99 10-Inch Velocity Blizzard Stand Fan, which is no longer sold by Amazon and now only seems to be sold by third party merchants. After every supporting piece on that fan broke away from minimal use, I thought I would move up to a better brand at any cost. That's the only reason I would spend $60 or $70 for a fan.

So far it's been worth it. It is just a fan, but the ionizer is a nice feature even if I'm not totally sold yet that it does much. The remote is very handy, and the looks can't be beat. Best of all, this fan has kept working and creates an awesome air flow.

While the height is not adjustable, the tower design only takes up a small floor area. This fan is light and easy to move around too, unlike the Holmes fan.

These days there are more options in fans available. If you are looking for a circulation fan as opposed to a tower model, there are other options. I haven't tried all of those, but just do your research with a grain of salt for the info that's out there.
Versa-Kool 12 Inch Circulation Fan 12 Volt
Hunter 90021 Century 12-Inch Performance Oscillating Fan
Honeywell HFS641P 16-Inch Remote Control Stand Fan

I was lucky enough to get a small discount for this item on sale, but now that summer is in full swing don't expect to pay much less than these prevailing prices.

If you need a reliable fan though this is well worth it. Even with AC, it's nice to have something to circulate the air.

Enjoy.

"Decent fan,but not blown away.", I liked the features and overall performance of the fan.The fan gives enoug breeze and air circulation if u have never used 10$ turbo fans.the traditional fans which i have been used of for 7 years,is now tough to be replaced by this fan.i am not getting that amount of air what i used to.so i want to give some time and see if i get used to this one before i return it.
the ionizer functions or not i dont know.Is there any way you feel that.if any body knows please let me know.

"No complaints out of the box ", Instead of typing out a perfect paragraph, I'll just list the good points:

Easy to set up
REmote works well...except when it's moving you have to wait till it's pointed at you.. :)
nice looking....remove stickers
quiet
blows hard (sounds like a negative point, but that's meant to be positive)
smooth oscillation
user friendly operation...read the manual
no real complaints out of the box...we'll wait til we've had it a season.
small footprint...go with the tower, and not the round ones !!

I'm giving it a 5 because it was a decent price and it's nice looking and so far, it's working well.

"Good Fan", This is a good fan with features that other fans may not have. It has a timer, a ionizer, an indoor temperature reading and a breeze feature. It also seems to push a great deal of air and is quiet. Although it may be a bit flimsy in its nature, it certainly does make up for that with all its features.

"Great fan....while it works", I purchased this fan and it was amazing for about four weeks. After that the oscillating motor went out. I exchanged the fan for a new one and again the oscillting motor went out after about four weeks. After that I switched to a Lasko fan and it has been running strong for eight months.
