"I Love This!!" As someone with a dog and 2 kids who just put their house on the market, this has been a life saver. Mopping floors is easy and quick, no longer a chore. My floors always look great and it is so simple. Highly recommend! "BEST MOP I HAVE EVER USED!" This is the absolute best mop I have ever used. I am a career cleaning person. I clean houses for a living, because I LOVE doing it. The greatest thing about this mop is the changeable terry covers for the mop head. I buy a bunch of them, then when I mop, every time I go over a section of the floor, I just flip the cover over to have a clean surface on the other side, then I change to a clean cover when that one gets dirty. That way, I am never using a mop that has been repeatedly rinsed out in a bucketfull of dirty water. Always a clean, fresh mopping surface. Then I throw them all into the washing machine to have them ready for the next day's work. I always felt that the absolute best way to get a floor its cleanest was to get down on my hands and knees and wash and dry it with terry towels. But that can be very impractical, obviously. With the sh-mop, I can duplicate that cleaning procedure with the ease and speed of a wet mop. Rag mops, sponge mops, yarn mops, those disposable mops, THROW THEM OUT! Get yourself one of these sh-mops, along with some extra covers, and you too will discover the JOYS of mopping, along with a truly CLEAN floor! "Just Perfect !!!!!" I've gone through every type of "mop" available and this one is a 10 out of 10. I bought extra covers and use it for floors and windows, both inside and out. I've even given it as shower gifts and have been thanked over and over because it works so well. I wish they made a flexible one for tubs and shower stalls. No more wringing, no more stinky sponges. Sh-Mop makes a fine hard surface floor mop that lets you clean, clean, clean those dirty floors as easy as pie! The mop can use either a cotton or terrycloth fabric cover on the bottom of it so that you can clean laminate floors and tile. Another reviewer notes that for them this mop could clean hardwood floors, too. It can help you clean your car or SUV; and it can be used on walls. However, I cannot comment on cleaning walls because I never used this mop to wash walls. The green plastic mop is lightweight and easy to carry. The length is such that you can easily dunk the mop into a bucket of water to rinse out at least most of the dirt from the cotton or terrycloth before you clean the next area of the floor you're cleaning. You shouldn't have to reach down to the end of the mop to wring out the cloth. Here's a suggestion: Rinse the cotton or terrycloth towel for this mop once in clean water before using it on the floor or whatever surface you're cleaning. This helps get any particles of dust and anything else out of the cloth so that when you start cleaning the mop is as clean as can be for your job. The mop is made in such a way that it gently but firmly scrubs the surface you're cleaning as well. Yes! Other reviewers suggest that you buy some extra cotton cloth covers for this mop at the time you buy the mop. I think that's a good idea. I recommend this Sh-Mop if you need a mop for any hard surface flooring. "Sh-mop sh-rocks" After reading a home organization book, this product was recommended to shorten mopping times. It is cleaner (you can wash the mop heads after each use) and quicker than any other mopping method.

What our customer's say! "May be great for hardwood floors but ---", When I read all the wonderful reviews for the Sh-Mop, I decided to give it a try. Well it may be the greatest thing since sliced bread for hardwood floors, but when it comes to mopping a large kitchen in a country home with men and pets, give me an old-fashioned bucket and mop any day. I really don't see how constantly wetting cloth covers, wringing them out and applying cleaner saves time. Plus you have to wash the terrycloth covers, SEPARATELY, since you would never want to wash the filthy things with anything else. I will admit the product is great for washing walls though, so I will keep the Sh-Mop, but to be honest, I don't think this product is any kind of a time-saver when it comes to kitchen floors. "I love my Sh-Mop!", I purchased a Sh-Mop after seeing my housekeeping company use them. I love it because it is the easiest way to spot clean my stained concrete floor. The Sh-Mop itself has a built-in scrubby pad on it; when you put a damp terrycloth cover over it and spray a little cleaner on the cloth, it gets everything off the floor, and covers a big space in a short amount of time. We have dogs, so dog drool and slobber is my biggest battle--but the Sh-Mop gets it all up, every time. Using the dry terrycloth towels with a little bit of Pledge is also great for dry mopping wood floors, walls, ceiling fans and hard-to-reach air vents. Would highly recommend this product! "THE BEST MOP IN THE "WORLD"", I was looking for a great mop to use in my house. I had a regular sponge mop that drove me crazy because it's so stif and it wasn't big enough for to clean my whole house. "I could hug the guy who invented this!", Just before Christmas 2007, I was desperate to find a way to get my large tile kitchen floor clean without dreading the job. I did a lot of internet research and settled on the Hoover Flair to first vacuum up all the dirt. But then I had to find a way to mop it. The last thing I wanted was to have to go to Wal-Mart to buy chemical-filled refills of some product. I just wanted to use a mop and water. Goodness, on a scale of 1-10, the Sh-Mop is about a 50. I absolutely LOVE it. I simply put hot water and a little Simple Green in a clean bowl in the sink, put in the cloth, wring it out, place it on the Sh-Mop, and off I go. It fits under the fridge and every protruding ledge. As soon as it gets a little dirty, I throw it in the washing machine and grab the next cloth. It takes about 5 to do my large kitchen floor. No more rinsing a dirty mop in dirty water and hoping to get your dirty floor clean. You are constantly applying a fresh, clean cloth and the floor really shows it. The thing I like best is that if you clean your house for a party, and after the party the floor is already starting to look dirty again, you just grab that Sh-Mop and 3 minutes later you have a clean floor again. It's so EASY! You can just use plain hot water! BUT, it does help to vacuum first to get up the particles of dirt, and for that I strongly recommend the Hoover Flair. These two are perfect when used in combination with each other. The bottom line is this: 6 months ago I DREADED washing my kitchen floor. I haven't dreaded it since using the Flair and the Sh-Mop. Not at all. "Utter Perfection Professional Mop", This mop is like a magnetic force,you just can't walk in your apartment without the desire to glide it all over your floors. I try not bringing in salt on my shoes and I keep this mop at the enterance of my apartment because as hard as I try, the sand still gets in. I wont buy a vacuum cleaner because the noise gets on my nerves in a major way.Plus using a mop every day adds muscle. This mop was sent from heaven into my life. It's stylish too.I love this shade of green on the handle and mop pad upper board. Take this mop into your life and you'll be grateful about how clean your apartment looks. Read this reviews before You buy... "Wonderful Mop!", I've been using this mop for at least 3 years now and have absolutely no regrets. It's wonderful. I have all hardwoods and tile. I have dogs and cats in and out of the house, which makes keeping floors clean a challenge. I currently have 6 covers (all well used and still in prefect shape) and am about to order more - we just got rid of the last of our carpet a few months ago. I want to have lots on hand. I saw one review on the covers that said only one cover was needed per job. Not at our house. For our entryway or kitchen, I can easily use 3 or 4 covers - I just keep mopping and changing covers til a cover comes up fairly clean. It's such a breeze and cost effective. I recently helped clean an infirm relatives house and had to use a different mop - ugh! Once you've Sh-Mopped, it's hard to go back. "I love the Sh-Mop", I agree with the other 5-star reviewers. I received my Sh-Mop and extra covers this past week and am very pleased with the results. This is WAY better than a Swiffer - cleans much better and faster and is economical with the washable covers. I do recommend ordering several extra covers. I've got two dogs that track in a lot of dirt, and I use five covers (both sides; when one side is dirty, I turn it inside out) for the living room, kitchen, entryway and hallway. And that is after vacuuming up the loose dirt. The Swiffer never picked up that much. I'd say it does as good a job as the old-fashioned hands-knees-scrub bucket, without the aches, pains and carting a bucket around. I'm getting one of these for my mom and have recommended it to other familiy and friends. As an aside, I'd also recommend one of the BonaKemi cleaners for use with the Sh-Mop. They make one for hardwood floors and one for hard surface floors. Their cleaners are non-toxic and do a very good job. UPDATE: I ordered a SH-Mop for my mom, and she loves it. One of my sisters was over at my mom's house while she was using it, was very impressed, and has ordered one for herself and another for my other sister. I can't say we're "loving" to mop (although my mom probably is), but as close as you can come to it. "Better than anything else, and less expensive too", I love this "mop". it's not really a mop... but boy does it work. It's so simple and effective that I clean my floors all the time. I have all hardwood and tile floors. I can clean all the floors in my house, upstairs and down, and the stairway in a matter of minutes. It's amazing. buy lots of the cotton covers. I go through 10-20 each time I do a thorough cleaning. then pop them in the wash and i'm ready to go for next time. I just fill a sink with my cleaning solution (murphys oil soap for the wood floors and spic and span for the bathroom tile floors).. dip in a cotton cover, wring and slip it on the mop and wash away. when it's dirty i peel it off and toss it in the laundry basket and get another one. No buckets!!! the greatest...!! "Wide mop, washable covers, easy clean-up", I had one of these a few years ago and now I am buying another. I found it the easiest way to damp-mop a floor. (Mine happens to be no-wax, but it would work well on all). It's a shame a photo is not shown or that this mop is not touted more often. It's great. I just mop and then throw the cover in the wash. It's clean and ready to use next time. No more wringing out mops. I love this thing. |
