Others say...

"Waste of money for flies & gnats"
In a swarm of fruit flies, I think it zapped one, and the rest were pushed out of the way. The zapper did give a powerful, scary zap to the one fruit fly it electrocuted. Not worth the money.

"Pretty cool"
We had grown men fighting over this item. It works great on mosquitos and does exactly what the description says it does. Everyone wanted a turn to get back at all the bugs that had been chewing us up all year.

"Bug Zapper?"
Pretty much a useless product. Nothing bigger then a mosquito can fit through this, and I have yet to see it kill anything... BUT, for the price, it's a fun thing to have around and talk about.

"great product, fast shipping"
I bought this as a gag gift and it turns out to be very effective. I was very pleased at this inexpensive, effective tool for slaughtering as many bugs as you can shake a stick at. I'm going to purchase a few more to use
use as back-ups in case I lose or break this one.

"Practice Your Backhand on pesky pests!!"
These little deals really work, and well at that! Really large bugs like say a Palmetto bug-(aka Giant-Roaches;) you may have to hold them down with the zapper for a moment to make sure their good and fried ;-)
But small-average size bugs ie: flies, spiders, mosquitoes etc.. are pretty much toast on contact:)

What our customer's say!

"Zapp em!", I love this swatter! My friend got one right after i told her how much i loved mine. She however, purchased the D battery version, it's a little heavier. I recommend the AA or rechargeable versions.

Its not the most humane way to kill a fly, but killing never is.

"Got Zapped", Put me on the list of those who received a defective one in the mail. I put in the batteries, pressed the switch and nothing happened. I have one from a different manufacturer that works fine, so it was clearly defective.

"Great idea, poor quality", I never had the chance to use this. I decided to recharge it as it had been sitting for weeks. When I put the battery back it no longer worked at all. Somehow, I wasn't surprised.

"AWESOME POWER !!", Let me start out by saying, I hate flies. I love Greek Mythology. This makes me feel like Zeus imparting wrathful vengeance on these mortal flies when the lightning shoots out. You can even hear the thunderclap! Everyone I've showed this to is amazed at how well it works. Get one today. (Make sure it's this brand. I tried another brand and it didn't work nearly as well.)

"The Few That Works", I seen other brands of fly Zappers on YouTube where People would touch Their tongue to the grid only to do It again but If You did It with this one You would Not do It again It would burn Your tongue to say the least. This fly Zapper uses the right amount of voltage and grid design to zap even them little micro flies that think they own You. There should be a law that Manufactures has to test Their product before They sell It and every store on earth has to sell fly Zappers and cannot cost more than $15.00

Read this reviews before You buy...

"100% effective bug zapper", I bought this bug swatter for my boyfriend to replace an older one he had. It is much better than the older one, has a protective shield from fingers and is more powerful. I am easily able to zap bugs--even really big, fast flies. Even ones that are too fast to swat--I have just held the swatter in the air while pressing the button & the fly usually flies into it on it's own within a couple minutes!!! GREAT PRODUCT!

"Love the Swatter/Zapper!", I got the swatter/zapper as a gift for my husband, after our old electric swatter (a different brand) bit the dust. The iTouchless swatter is a vast improvement over the old one: the construction is sturdier and it's more powerful as well.

"Great Idea -- Horribly Cheap Materials -- Sure To Fail Quickly", [SUBSTITUTED REVIEW]: Please disregard my rating and prior enthusiasm. The product broke before the first batteries began to weaken. Simply stopped working--though I'd treated it carefully, had never dropped it, had never struck a surface, etc. I opened it up, and found the cheapest imaginable materials and connections. Tried to fix the bad connection, but to touch this stuff it to watch it fall apart. The manufacturer has these things made in China. If they used less flimsy junk to build the inner works, they'd have a terrific product--and it would cost a penny or two more, at most, per unit. A real shame. Mine is in the trash can, and I've ordered a completely different product in its stead. 5 stars for however long it works. 0 stars after it fails. Which won't take long.

"For what it does, it's GREAT!", Visiting family, I first saw one of these things at their house. I immediately "took ownership" of it at the barbecue being that so many wasps and yellow jackets were flying around! I had to buy one for myself!

This is a different model than the one they had and uses AA batteries instead of larger C's but from my experience, the bugs still get "lit up" just fine! Highly recommended!

I agree about the battery door; if you get a little over zealous waving this around the door begins to pull down or come off but a bit of tape as mentioned solves that. (I haven't bothered to tape mines yet as it's not a major problem to me.) This is all that prevented me giving 5-stars for this unit.

Being that I have so many rechargable AA batteries (especially the 15 minute and hi-power 2000 mAH types, that I preferred this unit over the one that uses the larger batteries.)

I have yet to experience any feeling of this unit being under powered using AA batteries.

Summary: A great buy for the price!

"kills bugs with a big ZAP!", I've had these before...different brands....This one (so far 2 months in) is much better than other brands.
