"This machine is fantastic" We love this machine. It makes a great cup of coffee while at the same time you can make an espresso or cappuccino. The frother works great and although I had to read the directions a couple of times to get everything figured out -- it's now an easy machine to use. We are going to recommend this one to all of our friends. "LOVE this machine" I bought this not being sure of the 'automatic frother' and wanted to have a faster 'breve' made in the morning before work since it is crazy getting ready for work with two kids and the family. Before this machine, I was constantly standing at the 'frother'/'steam wand' on my old machine. This machine did EXACTLY what I was hoping it would. It elminated my 'stand time' at the machine AND because the parts that froth are plastic, it is MUCH easier to clean. The parts all remove and you can wash them quickly or I have even put them on the top rack of my dishwasher. Great machine and I would buy it again in a heartbeat. "WOW" NO MORE BUYING "GOURMET COFFE" FROM ANYWHERE!!!!!!! This produc tis great!!! With the flavor selection, you can make some of the best tasting coffee to suit all tastes!!! The expresso is surprisingly great. The cappuccino is also VERY GOOD. I can't complain at all for what I got for the price!!!!!!! If it ever goes (i.e. surge) it will be replaced by the samething!! "Randywnco" Delonghi bc0130t makes great coffee and espresso. I am happy with this product and will buy another for my daughter "Watch Out Dunkin..." We are hooked on lattes and decided to try this. Its awesome It makes great expressos and the frother is even better.It comes apart very easy to clean after expresso and froth. Clean the milk section asap to keep it clean. We have had numerous coffee machines and few made a "hot" cup of coffee. Very satisfied with the coffee too.This machine I rate a AA+++. Most bang for your buck.

What our customer's say! "Good Coffee - not so good milk steamer", This makes good and FAST regular drip coffee. The espresso maker makes good coffee - but so slow - and the milk steamer is just not user friendly. We have used it a few times - but went back to using our hand-held frother after about 5 trys. We really wanted a good milk steamer - but didn't get it with this one! "Misleading MSRP", This is a great product so far... I bought it at a local shop for $115.00 new. Amazon's price is only a handful of dollars beneath the listed MSRP on the Manufacturer's website. "Worst working latte maker", The latte foaming piece on this coffee maker has never worked since we purchased it. When we complained and were sent a replacement part it was missing a crucial piece and they still have not replaced it. We purchased this coffee maker for its latte making foam ability. Alas, we have had the machine for almost a month and still cannot make foam. "Instructions a bit confusing ", I just received this machine today and took about an hour using water to figure out the instructions. Maybe I had a long day and could not understand how to make a cappuccino portion. I looked for that cappuccino button for a long time. It is located on the expresso side together with the strong/light flavor knob. When you start making the expresso, be really quick to turn this knob at the right timing to froth the milk. A bit inconvenient. I also want to try pods because it was messy to clean up. Coffee grinds everywhere ... My first cappuccino was ok, a bit strong but need more milk. I do prefer lattes, and would love to lean how to make them. "Great coffee, great espresso, phooey on the foam", I bought this unit to replace my Krups combo unit, which served me well for many, many years. I read all the reviews before I took the plunge. There must be something I missed. It makes excellent coffee. It makes excellent espresso. But oh man, that foamer is a dud. Some days it makes decent crema. Some days it makes milk with a few dying bubbles. We have experimented, doing the crema separately, doing it on top of the espresso, cold milk, super cold milk, washing the foaming unit in cold water before using, varying the freshness of the milk... I'm sure there are more variables we have tried. Results: sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. We've only had it a couple of months and are DESPERATE to buy a unit that works as well as my poor old Krups did, in its prime. If anyone has found the foaming secret, PLEASE tell me because my cappuccino and I are very sad most mornings. 
Read this reviews before You buy... "Very good combination coffee machine", Few things that could be better but overall a very good machine. The weak points are: 1. Instructions are so-so, not as direct and to the point as they could be if this is your 1st cappuccino machine. After a few brews, you should finally get it all down pat. 2. The carafes do not have hinged lids so they are a pain to use. Having had many coffee makers in the past, I was surprised to see this on an 'upscale' coffee maker. If you pour to quickly, they tend to spill coffee on the counter. Now for the good part, once you figure it out it makes excellent coffee and cappuccino. I'm a coffee drinker but my wife prefers cappuccino. So she decided that a combination machine would be a great Christmas present rather then a seperate machine because it would take less counter space. It is an addes bonus that it can make both at the same time. We researched a lot of machines before landing on this one and are both quite happy with the results. As I said, in the big picture, the complaints were minor and if we were to do it over again, we would still purchase this machine. "A great Coffe/Espresso Machine", I have been using this product for about a month now and I am totally satisfied. It makes a great cup of coffee, and the built in frother makes a mean cappuchino. The timer is my favorite feature because it is great to have coffee already made when you wake up. Make sure you read the instructions to learn how to use all of the functions. "Buyer Beware ! ! ! ! ! ", I loved this coffee maker for the first 11 months...then it broke (leaks water EVERYWHERE). Delonghi customer service is awful! This item was a gift, and they are refusing to repair the item and they require me to ship it to them at my cost -- not reimbursed. This is one of the most frustrsting consumer experiences that I have ever dealt with, and the Delonghi reps whom I have spoken with have complete disregard for the situation. It is sad because this has the potential to be a great product, but it is not backed-up by the manufacturer who is making repair or replacement impossible. Buyer beware... "costumer service?", I got this machine as a wedding gift and was very happy with it. One day a small piece that fits into the filter holder broke during my washing. That was six months after I got the machine. Then I contacted delonghi's costumer service........After 3 weeks they sent me the wrong piece ( I won't even comment on the fact that the pice costs U$$3,00 and the shipping U$$10,00, as another reviewer had already pointed). I contacted then again and after 1 week I got another wrong piece..... Now I have been emailing them and they just won't reply....And, of course, my credit card has been charged! So I repeat...is that costumer service? That is definetely the worst service I ever got in this country! So I would advise everybody to stay away from it! Cause every now and then any machine will need some maintenance.... "-Great Product", I have owned combination systems before but this Delonghi is fantastic. the coffee brew basket makes the handling of the coffee easy, the removable water resevoir prevents spilling all over the counter. the variable knobs for bothe the coffee and expresso help make the coffee just the way I like it. Besides all that the price was great. |
