"Nice upgrade", Why would you want this when you have a blender? It's tough and great for when you need to completely see how the mixing's going. I use it for puddings, sauces, frothy drinks, nuts, whip cream. A multiplicity of attachments are available if you want to take it a step further.
I had an earlier model of this appliance, and using it about once a week, it took me a good ten years to burn it out.

"Great product! Powerful machine", I was first impressed by the chopper attachment, its really wonderful; Very sturdy & can hold good quantities of food. This metal shaft is really anti-splash, it purees soups within secs. I love the 2 speed controls, when you want to chop veggies you can use the low speed so that it does not crush them but when you want to make pesto or sauces the high speed makes it in a few seconds. Overall a good buy!!

"Great Blender!", I've used this blender numerous times over the last few months - it does what it's supposed to do very, very well. Easy to clean and store with great attachments, and it has sufficient power for most jobs (300 watts). This is my quickest use blender - I have a Bullet and a Vitamix, but this is the easiest to clean. Before buying it, I looked at the KitchenAid and Cuisinart models and settled on this blender because of the combination of attachments, power and price. My one complaint is that it only has two speeds and I wish there was a much slower speed for when I make yogurt and kefir. But this is not that big a deal.

I HAD A BRAUN YEARS AGO THAT COULD WHIP SKIM MILK INTO THICK CREAM LIKE.

I HAVE NO IDEA IF THIS ONE CAN OR WHAT IT DOES.

"One powerful blender!", I was looking for something more powerful than the weak & pitiful as-seen-on-tv drink blender that I was using for protein drinks in the morning. This Braun handblender is exactly what I was looking for. This morning I made a protein drink with banana and yogurt, and all of it was blended in seconds, even down to the sometimes hard-to-mix protein powder. This thing is really powerful, and is a little startling because of this at 1st when you're blending in the plastic cylinder that comes with it. If you get it too close to the bottom, it "sucks up" the cylinder so you have to hold onto it. It's not necessary to get it that close to the bottom to blend your drink well, I found out! I haven't used it for frozen berries, but I anticpate that it will do well. And I haven't used the whisk yet, but I plan to for scrambled eggs--the cylinder that comes with it is the perfect size for whisking up eggs. I can't wait to use it for other things, and for nice, cold milkshakes next summer!

I've been using this wonder machine almost every day since I bought it, and I wanted to add that it is absolutely wonderful with frozen berries & fruit...something I hadn't tried when I 1st entered this review. I used it recently for mashed potatoes and processed them right in the bowl I served them in. I'm in love, and I'm buying several of these for Christmas presents!

"Great Design", This hand blender is a great design that is safe even when used with non-stick pots! Clean up is a breeze with the dishwasher safe,detachable blender shaft. With the coming cold weather, I look forward to making lots of soups that I'd avoided in the past because I hated pouring the soup into the blender.

"Braun MR4050 Multiquick Advantage Handblender", I love this handblender and use it daily. It's easy to hold, easy to operate and makes quick work of fruit and yogurt smoothies,ice cream treats, emulsifying salad dressings, etc. without splattering. The motor has plenty of power for everything I've attempted so far. When used with the food chopper bowl it's quiet and efficient, and you can empty the contents of the bowl without first removing the chopper blade . The parts wash easily, especially the stainless steel blender shaft,and several of the parts can be put in the dishwasher. I haven't tried the whip yet.

"Braun Hand Blender", I love this item; I use it all the time. I have bought three for gifts because I wanted my friends to enjoy the convenience as well.
