"VAL'S OPINION" Sorry, I can't recommend this product. The bowl for the spinner is solid, which means you are spinning your salad in the dirt you are trying to spin off. "good but a little problem" Nice tool, but the top doesn't lock too well, and tends to slide off when spining the lettuce. "Works Great" We buy a lot of fresh veggies each week because they go bad so quickly. I got this for my husband and now when he washes the veggies on the weekend, he can dry them completely and they last longer. "Lovin' my clean vegi's!" This product is great! Its a breeze to clean, it cleans my vegis and keeps them crispy in the fridge until im ready to serve them! Its very easy to use and operate, just put the Vegi's in the basket, rinse with cold water. Place basket in water catching bowl, snap on top. spin spin spin Then squeeze bowl gently and top pops right off! And thats it, clean yummy vegis! :) "Pinzon Salad Spinner" For the price (I only paid $5.99 but I noticed it is now $9.99), this thing works great. The only complaint I have is the same one some other reviewers have had - the fact that the lid doesn't fit all that well. It tends to pop off if you don't hold it down..but it's really not that bad because you have to hold on to the thing when your're using it anyway..so no biggie. Other than that, it really works. I'd say the quality is fine for the price...why pay $30 for something to spin water off of your lettuce?

What our customer's say! "Awful!", It says this is dishwasher safe - it's NOT! The clear bowl deformed horribly the first time through the dishwasher even on the top rack. Lid never did fit properly, now it doesn't at all, one use and into the trash! Save your money! "EXELLENT!", A definate 10! If you're looking for a salad spinner, this is THE ONE!! "Works for the price", I would caution that this isn't the best made product and the lid has to be held in place while spinning. However it gets the job done and it beats paying 3-4x. "Pinzon salad spinner", This is the second salad spinner I've owned.I bought this one since the bowl on my first one cracked, dare I mentioned the name ,but it was a $25 item. The Pinzon is a heavier construction, but the top of the spinner is difficult to put in place, otherwise it works well.The price is great for the quality.I did read a previous review before I made my purchase, and they also complained about the top being difficult to attach. Happy Spinning! "Does ok", This would be great if the cover fit better. It is hard to keep the cover on but you can use it still. Amazing what washes off what you think is clean. 
Read this reviews before You buy... "Patience with the lid.", This is a great salad spinner, just be gentle and patient with the lid as it needs to line up properly for a good fit. "good deal, great spinner minus problem with the lid", Wonderful looking salad spinner and dries vegtables great but I would be happier if the lid fit better. I always have to try to "line it up" with the base and there isn't really anything to use to take the lid off, except for the spinning handle, which I do not suggest you pull, because mine is already loose. But I got this on sale so i'm happy with it. "Low Price, Medium Quality", I had a really good sturdy salad spinner for years that finally wore out. I replaced it with this one and was surprized at the flimsy construction. It is not nearly as easy to use as my old one, and I'm sure it won't be around for years like that one was, but as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. "not what I expected", Doesn't "dry" the lettuce. No holes in the bowl so water sits on lettuce. Hard to put the top on, it fits weird. I really don't use it. "Get that lettuce wet!", This is a super item. I never dreamed of finding a lettuce spinner here on Amazon. But again I should have known better. This spinner is a bargain and easy to use and wash up after. Don't be afraid to buy it. Get it on confidence knowing that it a very attractive item with rubber feet to hold onto the counter when you give that firm handle a spin or two.
