"good quality and great price. I love the thermostat feature."
I love the thermostat feature and the fact that you can intake and exhaust at the same time.

"good thing !!!"
I bought this fan because I smoke , and wanted something to exhaust tobacco smoke out of the room. This might work for a small room. The lack of ratings on wattage and air evacution in these window fans makes it difficult for the consumer to evaluate. if there is enogh air inlet in the room (through the door) the air evacution is good.
B U T!!!! the should be a solution to cover the fan over night (in winter)

"Good little window fan..."
Very pleased. Fan arrived quickly and is perfect for our use. Much more quiet and effective than expected.

"Excellant choice!"
I bought this for a small room that I use for making fishing lures. I use liquids that have harmful fumes and I needed one that would draw the unpleasant odors and fumes to the outside so it did not spread through my house. This fan does the job! It fits perfect and is so easy to take out of the window and to put back in when I am ready to use it. I definetly recommend this fan!! I would like to have more to use in the spring and fall all through my house just to circulate the air instead of using my a/c. The price is right too!! If you need a window fan... THIS IS IT!! :o)

"Window Fan....great value and features"
This fan is a great value with lots of features. 3 speeds independent on each of the dual fans and a temp control for auto operation if desired. Easy to install and fits any window size and very quiet in operation.

What our customer's say!

"my window fan", works great in my kitchen with using the oven it keeps my whole kitchen cool great fan

"Excellent fan!", I love these fans so much, I've purchased five! We live in San Diego, so don't need to use the AC, so these guys fit right in the window and bring in the cool night air. The only drawback is if you have narrow window ledges: it won't fit very well, but you can use the accordion pull-outs to help adjust. Luckily our home is older and our ledges are wide. We did have a very windy day recently and the fan blew out of the window onto the hard floor below. The plastic cracked a bit, but the fan still runs like a top! I highly recommend this brand. I've also used the exhaust feature when the kitchen grill got smoky and it cleared the room quickly.

"Order the $39.99 versus $29.99 Fan and Save S/H", There is a reviewer who said NO DIFF between the $29 and $39 Honeywell fan other than Target added model numbers to avoid match price checking. Order the Amazon $39.99 Honeywell fan with FREE SHIPPING because the 29.99 fan has a $10.47 S/H fee so the total is $42.26 for this $29.99 fan which you won't find out until the bitter end of filling out all the on-line screens. Target charges STATE TAX IN ANY STATE TARGET HAS A BRICK AND MORTAR STORE. Save time and money and order the $39.99 fan.

"Fits small windows", Living in a large house with no air conditioning and a lot of small windows, we've spent the last several years searching for window fans that fit in a window that's 23.5" wide. Most window fans are about 24" wide, so they go right back to the store after we pull them out of the box. So, this fan was interesting. Not available in local stores, so we couldn't just take a tape measure to it, we looked at numerous websites. Some said it would fit in a 23" window, and others said the width was 24.1". With summer coming, we took a chance. What we found was that 24.1" is the size of the packaging, and the fan will indeed fit in a 23" window. It also is a full featured fan, reversible, with adjustable louvers, and multiple speeds. That's the good stuff. The bad stuff is two fold. It's noisy; noisier than other window fans we have, and the lowest speed isn't exactly low. The other problem is, one of the two fans we bought died in a shower of sparks the second time we used it. The other is still going strong, but we don't like it enough to replace it with the same model. So, the search for the perfect fan continues....

"Window fan", Works well. The only complaint is that the window extenders are very difficult to manipulate.

"Window Fan", This is a great fan! Nice size (not too big) fits nicely in my window and works extremely well.

"A gooe fan but not enough power for air evacuation....", This a well built fan, the controls are excellent, and the feature of being able to remove the grill to clean it is INSPIRED! A can't-do-without feature. But it's a underpowered as an exhaust fan. But you could pay a lot more for another fan that wouldn't be much better then this one.

I bought this fan because I smoke cigars, and wanted something to exhaust tobacco smoke out of the room. This might work for a small bedroom. The lack of ratings on wattage and air evacution in these window fans makes it difficult for the consumer to evaluate.

I'm not unhappy or don't think I'm cheated, because for the price, you can't beat this fan. But if for air evacuation of a medium to large room, look elsewhere.

"Same Fan Less $5", I've had two of these for a couple of years now and they work great in our bedrooms; during the day, they pull the cooler air from the front of the house to the back, and at night they pull in the cooler air from outside and keep the air circulating. They do make some noise, but nothing extreme. They're quieter than a box fan and are conveniently out of the way.

I see that people are wondering what the difference is between the Honeywell HW-628 and the Honeywell HW-628-TGT; the only difference is that Target (aka TGT), like many other retailers, adds to their part numbers so they can say "We'll match/beat anyone's price" - and then get out of it because the part numbers aren't the same.

"Excellent Fan", I bought one of these fans and was very pleased with the product. I was so pleased that I bought two more. This fan really moves air and the built in thermostat is a great plus.

"Stopped working after three weeks", I bought two of these units three weeks ago. One of them started having a problem with the right fan, making noise. The left fan was nice and quiet. I ignored the noise until one day I finally shut off the right fan. A few days later, I turned it back on and it completely seized up. When wind passed through it, it helped to kick start it, but I knew something was wrong with it. I left it off again for a while, turned it back on and it wouldnt start, but made an AC humming noise. I didnt want to risk a fire, so I just took the whole unit out of the window and threw it away. I already threw away the box when I first got it, so I couldn't return it for an exchange or a refund. Im not saying they are bad fans, just hit and miss, I guess. Buy at your own risk. The other unit I bought is still working great. Keep the box in case you find that it doesnt work after a few weeks. Im going to order this same honeywell unit as a replacement. Maybe I will go with the more expensive one. Higher quality, maybe? I cant tell the difference between this one and the higher priced one.
