"excellent fit", The way this cover is made it was a perfect fit for my 54" board as well as the good quality of the cover .

"Best ironing board cover ever!", The Whitney Design 2020 Blue-Silicone 54-Inch Ironing-Board Replacement Pad and Cover is similar to the pad/cover sets that I've used in the past--but it is now MUCH improved. The pad and cover are fused together and have a very tight automatically self adjusted fit; no more constantly adjusting to fit or having to re-tie the cover due to constant slippage.
This pad/cover set is terrific.


"Well worth it", Easy to put on the ironing board and I expect it to last for years.

"yuck!", I thought this would make the iron glide easily, being silicone and all, but within a week we noticed the blue coating getting all over the bottom of the iron, making it sticky. This is NOT what you want with an iron. Took it off and threw it away.

"Good no stick surface, but needs strap", The old cover we had on the board was a Polder. It lasted about two years. This cover and pad is well made and fit our 54" x 15" board well. The part of the cover at the shoulder where the board tapers needs to have a strap. If they would have supplied the strap, (which is available separately, but for some reason not from Amazon Prime)I would have rated it a 5 star.

The cover is non stick and the iron glides easily on the surface. There is a odor when first ironing on it, it does go away. The pad is thick enough to prevent the grid of the board from coming through.

All in all a good cover and pad for the price.

Read this reviews before You buy...

"Decent quality but you'll need to buy straps", As the title says, this cover has no straps to hold the sides down so, while it fit my board (54" X 15") front to back snugly, the sides curled up with every movement of whatever I happened to be ironing (i.e. - it's unusuable as it comes). All was not lost however as I found that there ARE clip-on straps available (which, not coincidentally, are made by the same company - Whitney). Unfortunately, the straps aren't available on Amazon, so I actually had to venture into the real world (very scary - there are PEOPLE out there!) and get them at the local hardware store (for 4 dollars). The accessory straps work fine but not as well as built in straps do (which are sewn on to every other cover I've ever seen).

Even though the quality of the actual cover is decent, had I bought it at a store I would have returned it - just inexcusable to sell a product that is unusable out of the box.

BTW - In my travels hunting for straps I came across some very nice looking covers that are at least as good as this one at Target for about the same price (especially when you factor in the straps) - next time that's where I'll get mine.

"Excellent for the Price", Good reliable ironing board cover with built-in pad, stretches with bungee cord to fit around standard ironing board.

Farm & Home Supply Center shipped it the day after order, by Priority Mail, and I received it (all the way across country, from Teenytown, Washington to New York City) on the morning of the second day after they shipped it. Can't ask for better service for the low shipping rate.
