"Great for the Holidays", This is a great set. I wanted our holiday plates to be fun for the kids and yet nice enough for the adults. This set does just that. Its very bright and cheery and well painted. I like that it has a variety of accessories to go with it. ie salt/pepper shakers, milk/creamer set etc...

"Cute and Whimsical.", I am never disappointed in the quality I get from a Pfaltzgraff product, however I would say that this is very low-end. You can definately tell that they are hand painted and I feel that takes away from the whimsical-ness of the pattern. The dishes are very sturdy as you would expect from Pfaltzgraff - my only complaint is with the pattern and in the details.

overall, it's a cute set of holiday dishes. I would have probably returned them if they were my everyday dishes.
