Others say...
"Great piece of gear" I've taken this coffee mug around the world, into Iraq and back and it is durable, reliable and works as advertised keeping coffee hot with no leaks in your backpack or travel bag for hours. "Just the right size" Good day - -- I've been looking for a 'small' insulated 'coffee cup' for quite some time. This thing is perfect for my uses - and you can do tea in it too! -- Comes with both 'caps' a 'cap' with the tea strainer, and a cap for drinking (small hole) - plus a lid to keep either from spilling. (Perfect for free coffee at the Veteran's Hospital.) -- Pay attention to the way color is chosen on your order - I mistakenly ordered the wrong color. -- Seems to be a great item if a little on the expensive side (costs the same to manufacture as would a larger, similar item). "AWESOME!" This mug is amazing. It keeps my drink hot through just about the whole work day. Its also a very convenient way to make tea with the interchangeable infuser and sipping lids (and they are very easy to clean). Thinner teas (like Rooibos)seep through a little bit, but its definitely a great mug. I bought my first one through Teavana for a bit more and my boss had to have one, so this is actually the second one we've purchased. Its a must have for any tea lover! "Tea bags welcome" It works well for tea bags or tea leaves. What's nice is that you can put boiling water into it and the temperature on the outside of the tumbler barely elevates in temperature. If you are on the go, and you are a tea drinker, just boil your water throw in a bag (don't need the infuser) or leaves (needs the infuser) and you're ready to go. It has 2 different lids: one w/ the infuser and one w/o (like a typical coffee lid) and then a cap (fits on both inserts) to seal in the heat. And in case you were wondering, it can be used equally well for coffee. "Plastic" Just FYI, the lid, the strainer edge, and the sippy cup adaptor are made of plastic. Not a big deal for many of you, but I avoid plastics. I wish the picture had shown the sippy cup. I might keep it, remove the strainer and drink out of the stainless steel side without the plastic, though. Just wanted to provide that info for people who (wisely) avoid plastics.

Thermos Nissan 12-Ounce Stainless-Steel Tea Tumbler with Infuser, Espresso
Why I buy this one ? - TherMax¿ double wall vacuum insulation locks in temperature to preserve flavor and freshness - Unbreakable 18/8 stainless steel interior and exterior - Leak-proof travel cover seals closed for carefree portability - Separate infuser and drink lids - Tumbler stays cool to touch with hot liquids and is condensation free with cold What our customer's say! "Best Ever", As someone who is on the go most of the day, I really appreciate a good hot cup of coffee or tea and this cup is the answer. My drink will stay hot for hours and I never have to worry about any leakage. "Leak Free", I bought this specifically because I wanted something that doesn't leak. Since this one actually said you turned it upside down to infuse, I figured it must actually be leak proof (instead of just claiming it like all the other ones I bought). Sure enough, it's leak proof. The only "down side" I can think of is that when I fill it with a scalding hot beverage, the outside never gets very warm. This typically would be a good thing, but I like to walk to work holding a nice warm mug to warm my hands. Hot beverages lasts for hours (hot for a few hours, still lukewarm after 6 or so), probably due in part to the "down side" of it not giving off very much heat. Compared to other mugs when drinking without any lid on, this ones much easier on the lips.. no jagged ridges. Still could be better in this area, but I've never seen a mug that has awesome sipping ability while the lid is off. "Great tea traveler!", This is a much better product than other tea travelers out there. Just be careful you don't burn your mouth on the first use! That's what I did. If you want to drink your tea right away don't put the sipper or cover on and let your drink cool for a few minutes first. It fits very nicely in the cup holder in my car. I use this tea traveler almost every day and I'm really happy with it. "This is the best coffee mug I've ever owned, bar none.", I love this coffee mug. It's great for hot and cold beverages. It also has a nice, tight seal that I'm never worried about: I keep it strapped to my backpack, or in my day bag. I have put coffee in this mug at 7AM and found it still hot around 11AM. The only possible downside to this mug is that it's a little on the small side. It holds about mug's worth of liquid. That's almost exactly right for me (I drink a cup of coffee in the morning, and then pack another for when I'm at work -- probably more caffeine than I need!), but I could see other people wanting more. "Awesome for the loose tea lover", I was first drawn to this product when I found out that it has a special loose tea compartment, which was exactly what I was looking for. The basket holes are a little wide, so fine pieces from herbal teas will fall through, but overall it does the job. As for coffee: it makes two cups from my french press, pours into a starbucks "tall" and leaves room for milk. So for coffee or tea, this little thermos is perfect to take anywhere. I've had no leaks or spills. ![]()
Read this reviews before You buy... "Leakproof and hot, really hot.", I bought the "Liquid Solutions Tea-zer Tea Brewing Tumbler with Infuser Basket" in one of my trips and I was really in love with it. But I couldn't really rely on the "leakproof" feature. A while after, it would leak for real and I had do give up using it. Then I found this Thermos Nissan! WOW!!! It is really leakproof. I just close and throw it inside my backpack, not caring the position I put it. In fact, my only complain is that it keeps my tea too hot for too long. But, well, this shouldn't be a problem, right? So, I'm not complaining. If you are worried about the tea leaves and what to do with them after brewing your tea, just put the leaves inside the mug, before the infuser. This way, you can drink your tea and the leaves will stay there until you can throw it away. Just two warnings. Don't be fooled. It does get a little hot outside (I mean, you won't get burned, of course, but it will melt your chocolate, if there is one inside your backpack near it.) and it gets a little stained inside (even though I'm drinking white tea). Anyway, it's a great product, you don't even need to think twice. "Almost perfect for tea-lovers", I purchased this item due to the number of great reviews. After using it for a few weeks I agree that it keeps things very hot for very long, has a great seal (no leaks), and is easy to use. The only thing I don't like is the mesh for straining tea is just too big, there are always various bits of tea that get through and end up at the bottom of the mug. A finer mesh would have made this item just about perfect. "So good it will probably be discontinued", I've been beating this mug up for over a year. The mug's not as pretty as it used to be but it works just as well as the day I received it. Buy two; you'll want to give one to someone as a gift. "You want HOT? This is HOT!", Nissan 12-Ounce Stainless-Steel Tea Tumbler with Infuser definitely keeps your tea/coffee/hot beverage HOT! The best thing is the lid that screws on tight so you can carry it anywhere! "Great overall", Used these for couple of years now. Keep beverage warm for hours, my morning cofee is still warm. It's 5 hours ago. To top it all, it's spill proof if you don't over tighten the cap. The only downside is that they only supply one rubber seal for the cap. The seal collects dirt and cofee grinds after a year or so and you can't clean it. I wish they include a spare one. I don't use the tea infuser. It would have been perfect 5 stars. ![]() |
