"Top Notch"
Amazing sound quality in a small package. Exceptional Highs and Lows. The bass is more than I have experienced in any headphone. I highly recommend these for anyone that wants great sound with a minimal price.

"Good sound"
The earphones have a good sound. The sound response is balanced across the low through high frequencies. For the price it is a very good buy.

"Next best thing to a full sound system."
An affordable earbud headphone with bass response? Impossible, I know, but with the V-MODA Bass Freq Earbuds, it has been done. Literally the first track I played through the headphones - "All I Want", from Joni Mitchell's Blue - was transformed hearing it through these: there were literally entire layers of orchestration I never heard before that were clear when I listened through these. Similarly dramatic: the legendary bass riff on "Seven Nation Army" by The White Stripes, lost on my previous cheap pair of earbuds, was rich and full when I heard it through these.

The only criticism I can find to muster is picayune - the pressure of the sound isolating silicone tips on the ears is noticeable. This is somewhat akin to complaining that cars don't fly.

I bought these because my old earbuds broke. My advice: just pitch those things now. These are worth it.

"Disappointed with these headphones but found something better"
I tried several of the cheaper earbuds, including these and the Coby's and was really disappointed. They are cheaply made and the sound is really flat and thin. The cable on the V-Moda's shorted out on me in less than 2 weeks!!! Good lord!

Recently someone pointed out a new product to me called the JBuds J2: JBuds J2 Premium Hi-FI Noise Isolating Earbuds (Onyx Black)which I decided to try. Man, what a difference! Although only $24, the J2's are a much higher class of earphones. They are really well built and durable. I've been using them nonstop and can't say enough good things about them. I would recommend skipping the V-Moda's and getting the J2's. They look, sound, and feel better.

"Too much Bass and Very Low on Treble"
These earphones are good for the price but they are too high on Bass and you end up missing out on a lot of Low End Tones. The headphones donot have Rich Sound. This is a good option for Bass enthusiasts.

The sound amplification in earphones is too high and might be uncomfortable for longer use. I am a kind of a person who uses earphones 4-5 hours a day and these earphones are not a good option for me.

What our customer's say!

"Average Quality and Sound", I had been using clip-on headphones for months because my iPod earphones were just too big. Frustrated with the lack of sound isolation and quality, I decided to look for a pair of earbuds. I spent weeks trying to find a pair that consistently received good reviews. However, that magic pair just wasn't to be found for under $100. I decided to go with a cheaper pair in the $30 price range. If they turned out to be subpar, at least I didn't waste a lot of money on them.

I choose the V-Moda Bass Freq headphones primarily because of their 2006 CNET Editor's Choice Award. CNET is known to be a reliable source. I bought them for $29.99 from TigerDirect.

Pros:
--Decent sound isolation for not actually using noise-cancellation technology
--Excellent bass
--Well-designed. Their casing is even smaller than the iPod earphones and the chord seems sturdy

Cons:
--I found the small-seized silicone covers to still be a bit big
--They do not register quieter sounds very well. For example, I was listening to "We Are the Champions" and the verses kept fading in and out.
--Difficult to find a good EQ setting. I am still working with my iPod to find a good mix given the natural bass focus of the earbuds
--There was background buzzing when I plugged them into my laptop. I am not entirely sure this is a problem with the buds themselves, but it was certainly annoying

I am going to use my V-Moda Bass Freq headphones daily. However, if I hadn't been able to use a $25 gift card toward their purchase, I would be frustrated that I spent $30 on a product with so many cons.

"Stopped Working in Two Months", They were ok - not great - for the two months that they worked, but then one of the buds stopped working. So, obviously, they're now useless to me.

"comfy but not sturdy", I got these headphones because all my other earbuds seemed to have a short life, and these got a good review on CNET reviews. They are so far very comfortable with good sound, but one of the earbuds has been coming apart after only using them a few days. It's easy to snap the pieces back together, but I wonder how long these will be functional for.

"Great but break easily", These earbuds are probably one of the best I've ever used. They sound great, and isolate sound well. The only problem I had was them breaking. I keep my mp3 in my pocket all day and the ear end of the bud came off. This can be popped on easily, but eventually the wire broke off and were rendered useless.

So, these are great if you plan on treating them carefully.

"Avoid these headphones", These headphones perfectly recreate the sound of music playing through a dorm room wall. If you like that sound, you'll love these headphones. How do these headphones achieve "bass"? By cutting the treble and midrange to muffled insignificance. Also, you'll enjoy the crinkly saran wrap sound of the speaker diaphragm going back and forth as you insert them in your ear.

"Good Quality", Sound Quality was good. I prefer devices that are over the ear. These designs tend to fall out of my ears as did this pair.

Unfortunately, I stepped on mine the 2nd day, so I didn't get a lot of use/experience with them.

"Good sound but break easliy", The V-MODA Bass Freq earbuds' sound quality and noise isolation are both very good. However, the 3 pairs my wife and I have had over the past 2 years have all failed in the same way. The wire breaks near the hard plastic plug and the sound cuts out in one or both earbuds. I was particularly careful not to wind the wire too tightly when storing, but it broke anyway after about 9 months. My wife's lasted about 6 months. At $20, these may still be worth getting (my first pair was $50). Just be aware that they won't last long, especially if you're exposing the wire to lots of movement (e.g. running, stuffing it in a bag). They are covered by a 1 year warranty, but I am still waiting for the replacement a month after sending in the broken ones.

"V-MODA Bass Freq Earbuds - Bling Bling Black ", These ear pnones were one of the best earphone for a cheap price no doubt but i had several problems with them, for one thing the ear bud size didn't fit that well even the smallet size didn't stay in my ear too long. So it get annoying having to put them back in your ear every five -three min!! My major concern though was the ear phone jack came off when i unplugged it from my laptop, it was a total bummer only after two month this happened and i tried to get a hold of the seller for the warranty he didn't reply so i would not recomend buy it if the seller sucks!! Or dont buy at all!!

"great headphones", at first i did not know how to fit the head phones into my ear. ...dats to say it did not sound like i had read online...but the when i found out to get the real sound of it u have fit it tightly sealed into ur ear...that when i reallised this head phones are small but pocess great power and in bass and purity...great product

"Feel cheaply made", I had high expectations for these but was pretty disappointed. The sound quality and comfort were not what I expected.
