"Nice Vacuum that works well" A few scratches on the wheels and here and there but looks new overall. It works like new. Probably not a perfect vacuum but works well. Parts are available if you need them. Not a top of the line but neither is the price at $60-$70 with free shipping. "Worked for 5 minutes!" Heavy machine, looked durable, almost commercial. Put her together and began. Within 5 MINUTES of use the belt for the rotating brush burned up and the brush no longer rotated! Returned it the following day and bought a Bissel that has worked great, was cheaper and weighs less! "suction is great!" The suction is great. In fact better than any vacuum I've had. However, I bought it refurbished and it came missing parts. This vacuum is very heavy to lift also. I recommend this vacuum but maybe buy it brand new so you aren't missing any parts. "excellent!" i was a tad reluctant to buy a refurb. but i thought that if it's gone through a 2nd factory check-out and it's gotten rave reviews on the web i would take a chance. this is the BEST vac i could ever imagine. i'm a bit of a clean fanatic and what with all the house (kids, dogs, friends)traffic here and living in a rural (muddy, messy) area, i became tired of lugging my old vac (which was pretty good) up and down stairs. the eureka boss rules! and if, perchance, you think something might have been mistakenly engulfed by it (an earring in my case)it's easy to retrieve it from the cannister. "Refurbished Eureka R5892A Boss Upright Vacuum" I took a chance on purchasing a "refurb", and I'm glad I did. I had read the reviews for this particular vacuum cleaner, and decided that I wanted it to replace my old upright Shark that died. I'm extremely pleased with this product. It is by far the best cleaning tool I've ever owned.

"I'd give a negative 5 stars if I could", This is THE WORST, most high maintenance, poor quality, constantly clogged and messy excuse for a vacuum that I have had the misfortune to own. I've been more happy with the $50 vacuums from Walmart than with this piece of garbage. The duster attachment stopped working after being used one time, the hose always manages to get stopped up right where it should enter the dirt bin and proceeds to fill up through the hose before we even know what's going on. What a nasty mess to clean up! Micro-fine dust and junk I've just sucked up are NOT what I want to be getting all over my hands and in my breathing space. Then the filter gets clogged so quickly that it needs to be cleaned out after each use. Give me a vacuum with a bag any day! I'd much rather throw out all the crud in a bag than to have to deal with the plume of who-knows-what that flies around when trying to clean it out. We bought ours new, not refurbished, so there is no excuse. "Vacuum SUCKS!", This vacuum was recommended by Consumer Reports. It is the worst product I have ever owned. I have new carpet and own 3 dogs. The internal pipes of the vacuum would clog after 3 swipes over my carpet. The filter system over the canister is where the problem starts. The canister is also very difficult to empty. It is designed so the user must reach INTO the dirt that is collected in order to turn a nob to free most of the remaining dirt!! Dust goes everywhere: in the air, in your lungs, on your clothes, in the air and back into the house! If you need a heavy duty vacuum, the Bissell 5770 Healthy Home Bagless Upright Vacuum is a much better buy in every way. "Eureka Vacuum - Great Buy!", Arrived ahead of schedule, was simple to put together, and WORKS GREAT! We really put it to the test; our old vacuum had been broken for some time, with four dogs and usually three to six teenagers daily, the floors were a mess. The vacuum worked exceptionally well. And, for the price...VERY happy with this purchase. ""Refurbished" is "Used" in my case", My unit is not "refurbished" as I understand the term. It is a used vacuum cleaner. The dust bin and filters have been replaced, but the wheels are actually worn down from use. It's also scractched and scuffed from a fair amount of use. No attachments, no directions, no screws to hold the handle in place (luckily I had 2 that fit). This may be a fair value for the cost, but it is not as represented. "On off switch broke!", Beware! On off switch broke machine would not cut off unless unplugged. The place they recommended based on my zip code still has my vacuum and it's been about 2 weeks. :-( 
Read this reviews before You buy... "Great machine!", This vacuum sounds like a jet engine when you turn it on. We have a Black Lab and he's shedding like crazy this summer, so we really needed something that worked well. It does a great job and you can see all the dust/dirt that gets vacuumed up as well when you're emptying the canister. We're definitely happy with this purchase. "Great all around value!", This vacuum cleaner has strong suction and practically pulls me across the floor. It is powerful, but not to heavy. I really like the rubber bumber around the base because it protects the walls and furniture that I am always running into. "Item was not as represented", I chose this item partially because of the on board duster. The vacuum works well but did not have the on board duster. The number on the box matches the model number, but it is a different item than pictured and described. "The best vacuum cleaner ever...", This is the best vacuum cleaner I ever owned. I highly recommended to everyone who needs a great vacuum cleaner. I had them for over four years and still working perfectly as good as a brand new. |
