"Fun to use and good at slicing, but you can't see what you're peeling!"
I got several of these to give as gifts, and they were mostly well liked, but I can tell you a few caveats, too.

This thing is very fun to use. It's quite satisfying to peel off a long, clean strip of peel with each stroke. However, you can't see what you're doing, and for certain applications, that matters. Still, this is a nice peeler for quickly making thin slices of cheese, onion, carrot, zucchini or even mango if I'm getting fancy. It would be great for slicing a potato to make your own chips!

One other thing that's less than ideal is that a lot of times the peel ends up stuck between the blades, so between strokes I have to turn the veggie and remove the slice of peel. That's a little annoying, but it's still faster and more fun to use than the conventional peeler.

"WOW!! Amazing Peeler!"
I purchased this for my husband (he's seen an ad for it and mentioned it) and it's wonderful! Easy to use, super sharp and it really cuts down on peeling time. We use it mostly for potatoes and it just couldn't be easier. It's so tiny, you wouldn't think it would work well... but it fits your hand perfectly, is lightweight and so much better than traditional peelers. Oh yeah, it has a nice safety strip you can replace when you store it in your drawer... no accidental cuttings that way!

"Nice, easy, confortable, very sharp"
I already have four peelers and the last thing I thought I needed was one more. But it got rave reviews and for $5...

Because this fits on your finger, it acts like an extension of your hand. Imagine you are stroking the surface of a rutabaga (ok, that sounds weird) -- and the peel comes right off! That's what it's like to use this peeler.

Very sharp (be careful -- don't ask me how I know!).

"Such a handy little kitchen gadget, and so cheap everyone should have one."
I gave my wife one in her stocking at Christmas. She loves it, and so do I. Great design, easy operation, comfortable, and cool looking. What more can I say?

"Works Great!"
I just bought a bunch of these for Christmas gifts. I've enjoyed using my friend's. The true test came when I went to peel a butternut squash. It took the first layer off with no effort whatsoever, and I only had to go back once to take a little more off. With a regular peeler, I had to do it two and three times. Incredibly comfortable in my hand, too.

What our customer's say!

"Cool idea in theory...", Too awkward to use. You use it like you were going to rub a child's head. Maybe if you were peeling a watermelon it would be great. Peeling a carrot or a redskin potato - it would be easier to use a knife!!

"Nice design, but performance is not the greatest.", I bought this product for my sister expecting her to really like it. However, although she liked the design, the peeler blade itself turned out to be less-than-great, leading her to go back to her existing peeler for some tasks. Also this peeler is most useful for peeling longish items, not so much for small round ones.

"Makes peeling fast and easier on my wrist", I hate peeling potatoes. This makes peeling them a breeze. Because most peelers require an awkward grip they become very uncomfortable for me and strain my wrist over time. This fits over your finger in a more comfortable position and it slices through the thick skin easily so peeling goes much faster. At times it can be hard to see what is going on but this peeler works fast and requires less pressure and is easier on my wrist because of the way it fits over my finger and attaches to my hand.

Great gadget.

"So cute, so useful.", This little gadget really works well. Nice and sharp, so it peels great. I think it would be especially good for anyone with problems holding a regular peeler. One added little bonus: the bright color makes it really easy to find in the drawer.

"the perfect peeler", This peeler far exceeds any other I have tried, especially being left handed! It is easy to hold and control and I love it!

"WOW - I wish I invented this!!!!", I just got this peeler for a gift and I just used it to peel yams; at first it just was not working and I thought oh well, a good idea, but just not a great gadget, then...I realized I was being a complete ditz, I had not removed the saftey strip off the blade! ;-)lol. I proceeded to peel 4 yams in just a couple of minutes with no strain on my hands. It peels perfectly and effortlessly!!!! I am definitely going to be putting one in everyone's stocking this Christmas!!

"Innovating product that makes peeling a breeze", I came by this item online and decided to check it out in person before buying. Guess what! I bought it on the spot. The peeler fis neatly in your hand, irrespective of the size of your palm. It is extremely easy to use and makes conventional peelers look like clumsy dinosaurs. One area for improvement is the blade itself: it could stand a little sharpening.
