"Great value" I have a collection of devices to extract juice but this one works the best and cost the least. Great value. And it works great with grapefruit which none of the others can handle. "Terrific kitchen tool" I have been mixing cocktails lately and looking for something quick and efficient for juicing citrus fruits. I tried a wooden reamer and ended up with juice all over the counter. I bought an old-fashioned plastic juicer that screws down on a glass jar because I'd had one before. The new one leaked whenever I tried to pour out the juice. The Chef'n Juicester turned out to be perfect for my needs. I particularly appreciate the fact that it comes with two sizes of cores; the smaller one is perfect for limes and small lemons, while the larger one is perfect for oranges and other larger citrus. It has a non-slip base and cleans up very easily. "simply awesome" I got this as a gift, my friend knows I love fresh oj in the morning, and I was a little hesitant about a plastic juicer. I was thinking more of an industrial silver thingy, but this little juicer is just amazing, it just perfectly juiced with little effort. I was close to awe at how good this was. I am so glad I got this as a gift because I know I would have passed it up for some electric super duty model but this thing is far better and the design, its efficient and easy to clean. fresh oj in the morning is definetly one of the things i look forward to everday and this little juicer is golden. "The little guy really works!" Easy to use. The juice gets filtered twice, once when you juice the fruit and again when you pour the juice out. I like that it has the larger attachment, as I enjoy fresh grapefruit juice. And, it's a breeze to clean! "EFFORTLESS TO USE" My family has always been used to using non-machine juicers and this one that we were at first reluctant to buy, is so easy and requires little or no effort to get juice out of citrus. We use it everyday and true to it's description and features, it extracts all the juice and the non-slip base is very good. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a good citrus juicer.

"Love it", My son bought this and I laughed at him. He left it home and I started to use it -- a lot. When he wanted it back I bought two- one for home and one for the cottage. Works great with little effort and it measures at the same time and it goes in the dishwasher. What more can you ask for. "Juicester: Manual Citrus Reamer", I found this product easy to use with minor to moderate pressure (would not recommend if you have carpal tunnel, etc.). It's nice to have the juice collection chamber that snaps together with the reamer; however, it does make the unit a bit problematic to store. The Juicester does a superb job of breaking down the citrus flesh, almost hollowing out the skin. Although, I would recommend removing the pulp from the reamer between juicing so that all the juice is collected. Also, even though it is listed as having a "double strainer to catch pulp and seeds" some pulp does remain in the juice after being poured through the second strainer. All and all the Juicester is a useful, pleasant kitchen gadget to work with, that does what its description states with minimal effort. "oops", When I tipped the Juicester to strain the juice into a pitcher all the seeds and pulp from the strainer went with it. THe reamer works well. the strainer doesn't. "Compact hand juicer that works great!", I needed a juicer quick and looked to Amazon reviews. Since I was only looking to juice a few limes, lemons and oranges I wasn't prepared to purchase an expensive electric one. This juicer arrived fast (two day shipping) and it works great. I like that it has an attachment for larger fruit such as oranges and grapefruits. It is well made, easy to clean and store. If you have weak wrists or need to make large batches then you should go for an electric one. I have since purchased (from Amazon) a Black and Decker CJ525 Citrus Mate Plus Citrus Juicer for my sister that was just a few more dollars than what I paid for the Chef'n Juicester and she says it works like a charm. She lives in Florida and the family has put it to the test. I'm probably going to get one too. But for this review, if your just juicing a few oranges than this unit is for you. "good hand juicer", I got this because my wife had bought a Cuisinart juicer, which I grew to strongly dislike for various reasons. I find this juicer easy to use (doesn't need to much force), effective (juices thoroughly and completely -- more so than the Cuisinart), doesn't make a mess if you do something slightly wrong, easy to clean (since it doesn't chew up the orange there isn't an excessive amount of pulp to deal with, it takes a few seconds to take it apart and rinse it thoroughly). 
Read this reviews before You buy... "Best hand juicer I have seen or used!", This juicer/reamer just rips right into the fruit to deliver pulp- and seed-free juice with ease. The design of the reamer grooves make juice extraction simple and very easy on the hands. (i.e., you don't have to be Hercules to effectively extract the juice) Easy to clean, double strainer and spout for pouring. The base has a non-slip surface ring and measurements in both metric and conventional. I looked around for the right hand juicer and am very happy with this one. |
