"Salt & Pepper with pepper grinder" This is a combination of a regular salt shaker with a pepper grinder. It came with a little salt and some whole peppercorns already in the grinder. I chose the stainless steel, which was a couple of dollars more, and it was actually much more attractive than it looked in the picture. Very convenient because it only takes one hand to use. Quality seems good - it should last. "Happy with shaker" We have been looking for a practical combination salt and pepper shaker. When this product first arrived, I was a bit worried because the actual shaker looked and felt flimsy. But, so far so good-it's easy to use and re-fill. It's also super-easy to grind the pepper in one fell swoop, which is nice. We are really happy with the shaker. If I needed another one, I would definately but this again. "excellent and beautiful" This shaker has gotten rave reviews from everyone who has seen it. They all say it is beautiful. It is a little awkward to refill with pepper (it must be tilted on its side, possibly spilling salt everywhere!) We have enjoyed it thus far! "Loved it until it broke" This was a nice piece of equipment, until the handle broke after only four months. The design is cheap. Once it is broken, you just throw it away because it can't be fixed. I would recommend something else that is a little better designed and won't break after a few months of normal use. "Good-looking, Works well" This is an attractive grinder. Salt shaker on top is handy, as is one-handed action! My only complaint is that there's not a much difference between the coarse & fine grinds.

"You'll Throw It Away. I Did.", Amazon, Amazon, Amazon. This one should really not pass as an acceptable thing to sell. The salt absolutely pours out of control. Because it was not too expensive, it wasn't worth the hassle of returning it. I have an older Chef'n Bistro combo grinder that is fabulous, but it's getting old and yucky looking and I wanted to replace it. I have no idea why they "improved" the design. Big mistake. Anyway, don't buy it. You'll be sorry. "love it!", This combo grinder/shaker is sleek, looks great, takes up little space, and works well. My guests love it, too. "Nice until it broke", This was a nice pepper grinder, and it lasted us about 6 months of light to moderate use. Once it breaks there is no hope of repair. If the internal components were metal, the squeeze style handle would be good. "had over a year & great-now it just broke!", I love my salt & pepper combo! I like the fact of having the salt & pepper all in one while I am cooking & I like grinding the pepper fresh - it makes me feel like a Chef-lol It has a switch to choose the size flakes, which is nice & the refill of the peppercorns is not too bad - sometimes they do fall everywhere, but mostly go in the hole. The best thing is you can sprinkle salt, grind pepper all with 1 hand! Works good for a mom to toddler twins *smile* ****edited**** Well i did love this grinder until today i just used it as normal & the grinder handle just cracked in half! What a shame to be so cheap...i guess maybe you should look for another brand (sad pepper mill owner) "black pepper grinder", Good product. I enjoyed so far. Although I couldn't tell the granularity between fine and coarse. 
Read this reviews before You buy... "works great!", I have had several of this type of salt & pepper mill. This one is very easy to fill. The top pops off to fill the salt and the pepper fill is easy also. The adjustment for the way the pepper is ground is good, too. It looks good, and works great. Different colors are a plus! "easy to refill ", Excellent product. Lid pops off to refill salt with a little bit of effert. Fine to coarse pepper dispension with the click of the switch. Side panel pulls down on side of pepper section for very easy filling. One of the best mills I have ever owned. "i love it", not having ordered over the internet much and looking at a picture it is just what i wanted...... "Looks good and works good", I purchased this item in Nov. 06. I really liked the design and the option of choosing different colors. It works very well and looks great on my counter. It is easy to use when you need a sprinkle of pepper and salt when cooking and I like the lever on the bottom to control how much pepper you want. I liked it so much I plan to purchase more as housewarming gifts. The only thing that I can't comment on is how to refill. "Attractive ", This is an attractive grinder and the coarseness for the pepper grinder is very east to use. It's a little hard to fill though. |
