"brushed bronze palermo fan", This fan is very nice looking and is a great quality. However, if you need a downrod, Hunter does NOT offer one in "brushed bronze", which is crazy as they offer every other color in the rainbow. We called Hunter customer support and they suggested that the closest match would be antique bronze. We purchased this color as suggested, but it DID NOT match. We ended up buying a "brushed bronze" downrod from a competitor (I think Westinghouse??). This was not an exact match, but was close enough to look good (much better than the antique bronze looked).

Also, I'm not crazy about the harshness of the CFL lightbulb, which is why I only gave it a 4-star.

"Great fan", I love this fan, very good looking and very quiet at its lowest setting. The light is very bright with no control to dim it, that was no problem to me because I wanted a bright ceiling light.

"Nice", Very quiet with clean understated looks. If you want a high quality fan that blends in tastefully then this is one to consider. The remote is simple, works well and can be wall mounted.

"Hunter Fan-Palermo", This is good-looking fan! I love the remote control for operation & it's a Hunter & the quality shows. We used flush-mount & it looks very good. I like having the choice of 2 colors for the blades..we use black side & it looks sharp with the bronze finish. The price is about the best I could find anywhere plus free shipping made it a bargain.
