"Travel Mug", This mug has lost it's traveling compatibility with today's automobiles. The day of large dash boards are long gone.

This mug is good however, for those who sit at a desk or a computer, for it will not tip over easily. And the grip on the bottom will prevent it from being knocked over easily.

But if your looking for a mug to keep your coffee warm try again, this mug does not retain heat, any better than a paper/foam cup would. You will be visiting the microwave often if your not a fast coffee drinker.

"Lanny R. North", For a person who is mildly clumsy and experiences tremors occasionally I found this cup to be a life saver. Its wide base and low center of gravity makes it difficult if not impossible to knock over. Its base has a rubber like covering that makes sliding off the table equally difficult. I have used mine to heat up coffee in the microwave. I don't know whether the manufacturer would so recommend but mine did last years with such abuse. This purchase is a desperate replacement for my former cup, which had developed a crack and finnally wept a bit. Like I say the crack developed only after years of abuse by myself.
I recommend this cup for everyone, but especially for old guys like myself. I love it so much that I am sorely tempted to purchase another as backup just in case at some future day they no longer will make it.
