"percolator filters work out nicely" Takes just a few extra seconds to install the filter because it has 5 holes that fit over the percolator tube. There are no grounds in my coffee and it makes dumping the gounds easier and neater. "Excellent product but not for all percolators" This filter produced excellent coffee with a Dualit percolator but there were mixed results with a Farberware model: the coffee was noticeably weaker. Try before you buy in bulk. With the Dualit, it was easy to use if you carefully folded the filter as Melitta directs: no grounds escaped and the filter trapped oils. "don't waste your money" Good quality filter paper but not worth the money afterall. I found them somewhat cumbersome to lay down into the basket and they really didn't accomplish anything that a regular pleated basket filter wouldn't do. Just poke a hole in the basket filter and use that in your percolator basket. "NOT for everyday percolators" These are made for huge urn type coffee makers, not the everyday 4-12 cup percolator. Save your money and get the right ones at the local store. "Amazon has real problems" Amazon needs to get their collective head screwed on straight. They won't ship coffee filters to Hawaii? This is 2008, people. Hawaii has been a state since 1959. Thanks for nothing, Amazon.

What our customer's say! "filters", Product was impossible to find in any store I searched. These are just what I needed to make a large percolator pot of coffee. "Percolator coffee filters", You cannot make a good pot of percolator coffee without filters, and these Melitta filters work well, and what's really good is you can get them online--you can't find filters in stores. Do not perk without them! "Works Great", Although I have a drip coffee maker, I still prefer to use my perculator coffee pot because it makes the coffee so much hotter. These little filters make easy work of removing the grounds, and keeping grounds out of your coffee. I sometimes have difficulty finding these in my grocery store, so I bought a case of them so I will not run out for awhile. Once you start using these, you do not want to make your coffee without them. "Percolator Coffee filters", Great idea, but very difficult to use, especially when you have arthritis in your hands as I do. They tear very easily when adding coffee. They do make the coffee taste better and alot less grounds in the coffee. "Eliminate Grounds and Speed Up Your Clean Up!", Love percolated coffee (I think it tastes like the wonderful aroma of roasting coffee beans that I remember when, as a young adult, I worked near a coffee roasting company!). But, the occasional grounds in my cup and messy clean-up were getting me down. No more! Now I just pull the filter out, rinse and/or wash the pot/parts, and I'm done. Life is good again! 
Read this reviews before You buy... "Great product", This is a great product if you are using a percolator for your coffee in the morning. We use it camping and at home all the time. It makes for easy cleanup. "Don't like it.", It's not very easy to put into the coffee maker and does not save me that much trouble in cleaning. It makes the coffee much weaker so I have to use quite a bit more coffee. "melitta filters", I couldn't find these filters anywhere but Amazon.The right filters are necessary when you use a percolater coffee pot. Great price and fast shipping. "Never got the products I ordered.", I ordered the product but was shipped only 1 unit of a 12 pack. After some emails to get this fixed I finally got an email that you do not have any of this product and it is on backorder. why did you send one packet but have none of the 24 packs I ordered? I am probably going to cancel this order. Never ordered from Amazon.com before and most likely will not ever again. Not a good experience. "Love Old Fashioned Coffee?", If you love a great cup of old fashioned "joe," and use a percolator, then these are the filters for you! These are a thousand times better than the round disk style filters. Because of the wrap around style of this filter, you will find no grounds in your cup, which is a major problem with the disk type filters. I bought these for my mom, and she was absolutly thrilled. |
