"Great strainer.", The construction of this strainer is very heavy and solid; however, the center of mass is dangerously close to the beginning of the handle, so you will need to be careful when using this over glasses with less than a 3" lip.

The mesh is very fine and easily removes all but the finest particulate.

My only real complaint is the lack of a hole from which to hang this, but that is my fault for not considering that before the purchase.

"STRAINER!", Great strainer, and heavier than it looks on the screen. This could potentially be used as a paper weight its so heavy.

"perfect tea strainer", This is the perfect tea strainer. Most people use either an infusing basket that came with their tea pot or the old tea ball on a chain. Don't throw those things away as I am sure they could be useful for infusing herbs into a broth or an oil or the like, but for tea they just don't cut it. Loose tea leaves require room to bloom inside the pot to fully develop the flavor & aroma of the liquor, and balls and baskets simply don't allow enough room for the tea to do so. Tea should be spooned directly into the teapot and strained out after brewing with this device on top of your cup/mug to catch the leaves. Happy brewing :)

"Great Tea Strainer", Sturdy and solid. It won't flip accidentally because its heavy and it has a notch at the end of the strainer that lodges on the tea cup. Very nice!!

"tea strainer", The size fits nicely over a cup and the mesh is fine but sturdy. This should last a long time.
