"The best pasta pot ever!"
I have had this pasta pot for about two months now, and I love it! I've found it to be very versatile and have used it for other things like stove-top braising (although I have to admit it was an accident because I grabbed this instead of the Rachael Ray Saute Pan that I bought at the same time). At one point I thought that maybe I didn't need to buy the saute pan, but I'm glad I did so I can make something else while boiling the pasta.

This pasta pot is better than others I've had because it is shorter, which is a big deal to someone like me who is only 5' 3". It's also nice that spaghetti will all fit in the water at once, rather than squishing it in or breaking the noodles. I also love the little built-in spout to pour out the water, although it does take a bit of time to drain. Small price to pay. I love being able to keep the pasta in the pot to keep warm, or to toss in a sauce. This was a great investment for me!

What our customer's say!

"GREAT PAN!!!", I loved it!!! It's great for when you are cooking for a big family. It cleans good and it's great for pasta.

"Wonderful Wonder Pot", I absolutely love this pot. I think the oval shape is so brilliant and I can think of so many other dishes I can make rather than just boiling pasta alone. The stews, chicken noodle soup etc come out so beautifully and I used this to substitute for a dutch oven to cook beef stew and it came out so perfect. It is so roomy as well and I can actually throw much more veggies in there to any type of dish than I normally would.

I am by all means not a chef but this pot is only the beginning of many many more wonderful dishes to come. I highly recommend this great pot. :-)

"Excellent pot has many uses", I bought this pot after checking it out at a local department store to see if I liked the finish, weight, etc. I've had it for several weeks now and have used it to cook pasta, a large pot of soup, chili, etc. It heats evenly and cleans up quickly. In short, I love it. I especially like the fact that I can cook long pasta without having to break it or wait around for it to soften and be completely submerged. I have a standard electric stove and I find that if sauteeing meat or vegetables for soup I need to move the food around from the sides to the middle of the pan for even cooking/browning, but that's simple enough and no trouble. I noticed that one person noted that the pan was "stinky" when she used it. The first time I ran water in it to wash before using, it smelled funny, but after washing there has been no odor at all. This pan is also perfectly balanced for pouring and is heavy enough to heat evenly without being too heavy for my hands and wrists, which have weakened from years of typing and beginning arthritis. And I love the silicone handles. All in all, I'm very pleased with this pan. Amazon had the best price (got it on sale for $59.99) and shipping was fast.

"Extremely Happy with this Pot", Have enjoyed using this pot for about 6 months now. When I first got it I was surprised by how light it felt compared to other hard anodized pots I've used. This made me a little skeptical but it has certainly worked out well.

It is light weight, easy to clean, love the glass/see through cover. It fits well on my stove and heats well - I have a flat top electric, no problem.

The one thing I notice is that I guess due to the oval shape which works so well for space I really need to stir items a bit more, particularly pasta because the outer edges don't seem to get the same amount of heat as the center. I don't see it as a problem it's just something to be aware of when using on a smaller electric burner.

I would certainly buy it again.

"Rachel Ray Pasta Pot", This pasta pot is great. It is so much easier cooking the long pasta without it sticking to each other or having to break it (ugh!!)It is easy to clean too.

"Roomy and efficient", Love this pot. Long pasta fits well (lasagna, etc..) without having to break it in half. Very pleased with it's performance, cleanup.

"good pasta cooker", It's nice to be able to put all the spaghetti in at once. Dumping the cooked spaghetti is a bit tricky, as the mouth of the pan is wide, perhaps wider than your colander. In my case, it's fine, and no spaghetti is lost when draining.

"perfect shape", Pasta pot is the perfect size for my large family. Love the pour spout. Love the idea you can put the pot in the oven as long as you keep the temperature under 400 degrees.

"Rachel Ray Pasta Pot", This is just excellent---wish it had been available years ago. Seems to boil water very quickly and is pefect for just pouring the uncooked pasta in without havng to stand and bend it as it softens. Pour spout very convenient for pouring into strainer. Wounderful product for anyone who cooks pasta frequently.

"rachel ray's pasta pot",

The rachel ray pasta pot can be used for so many other things! I've used it for stews, soups, stews, ect. It's very easy to handle, and I love the oval shape!
